Remus barely had any sleep. Everyone in their year had been fussing about their NEWT levels which was admittedly overwhelming. He was a tinge bit jealous on how Sirius and James barely study yet their marks were miraculous. It was actually quite a wonder how they were able to manage it. Since Remus wasn't like those to, he had to go over a more than decent amount of books and notes to get a nice marking which was behind the reason he only acquired 3 hours of sleep the previous night.

He figured he should go to bed as the loud muggle clock in the Gryffindor boys' dormitory ticked in every passing second due to the almost eerie silence of the room. James had his legs slinged across the couch, asleep in the common room. Sirius was in his 4 poster, his face tilted to the side. Meanwhile Peter just layed on a pile of his pillows and a blanket.

Remus dozed off eventually, waking up to the rays of sunlight shining through the dormitory. Sirius' face was grinning at him.

"Rise and shine, Moony!" Sirius greeted the  lump who was tucked in a wooly blanket. The wooly lump groaned at the over-enthusiastic boy in front of him who was now using magic to spurt little droplets of water against his scarred face. "Oh alright, alright!" muttered Remus loudly. He opened his eyelids, only to glare at Sirius. He loved him, really. Maybe more than friends usually do.

Remus and Peter whom where the last to wake up, got ready for Defence Against the Dark Arts Class. They arrived at the room in time seeing that there were still a few unvacant seats. Their professor was disscusing the lesson about the difference of inferi and ghosts and like usual, James and Sirius were passing notes again because of course, as the insufferable twats they are, they really can't help it. But obviously, Remus wouldn't dare say that to them straight in the face.

By the end of the day, Remus now understands why it's called a Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Test. They were assigned a large number of homework and yet, its only the second week.

"Aghh, I could be transfiguring the Slytherins into gelatin right now!" Sirius complains, making hand movements that's supposed to be him squishing the gelatined slytherins into mush.

"Yeah, this is no fun." Peter agreed, pouting at his schoolwork.

"Alright fine. I'll let you revise mine into your own essays, don't copy it completely." Remus said, giving in to their complaints.

"Now get to work. My essays are in my folder case."

"Moony, you're a life saver." Sirius beams at him. Peter was scavenging Remus' folder case for his essay.

In only a matter of time, the door creaked open.

James entered the room and plopped himself down the couch, visibly exhausted. He rested himself on the couch, invading the rest of the available space. He looked around the common room. "Allowed them to copy off your work again, Moony?" James interpreted, observing and taking in his mates' expressions of happiness.

"Mhm" Remus nodded.

"Hey! Quidditch match tommorow!" he beams at them.

"Obviously." James smirked, knowing he was ready.
