The two boys layed down on the grass, miniscule water droplets clinging on their clothing. It was hours before the Hogwarts' curfew. Very few seemed to follow the time schedule nowadays, it didn't seem like it mattered. Argus Filch and his cat was honestly a weak threat, most especially for the marauders.

Of course the two boys had to still take note of the time in regards to today's transformation. A shame the full moon lands today, if not, they both would have stayed in the peaceful environment without a thought of leaving the forest.

"Tempus" Sirius says, checking if they should go back now. 20:03. It was still pretty early to leave but they had to get a move on if they didn't want any questions asked.

Remus grabbed Sirius' hand again, tingling warmth reaching his body. He didn't lie when he said it felt nice. Sirius squeezed the other boy's hand as they made their way out of the Forbidden Forest.

After skipping over untamed roots, ducking low branches, and alot of constant giggling, the two found themselves back at the castle's hallway. Walking to the Gryffindor common room, making sure to avoid the trick steps, They arrived at the portrait of the lady in a pink dress. "Fudge Flies" Remus says, the painting admitted the two inside.

The door creaked open, only to find James who seems to be jumping up and down like a 5 year old child, his jet black hair getting more chaotic by the passing minute, beside him was a stubby sandy haired boy, Peter Pettigrew.

Peter sighed, "He's going to explode, im telling you."

"The bloody hell is James on about?" Sirius sniggered at the excitement and liveliness of his friend.

"Evans. She. Yes. This. Brilliant!!" James breathed, slightly put out from all his hyperactive actions.

"Merlin, you cant even form a proper sentence! Lily agreed to go out with this fool". Peter said, smiling. James nodded his head enthusiastically, grinning broadly.

"Why, that's great! Congratulations, Prongs." Sirius says while he gives an approving pat on the back.

"Sorry but, we should get in the shack now, the transformation might come any second now." Remus breaks the joyous talk.

"Okay, Moons" the other three say, synchronised.

The four boys arrived at the front of the Whomping Willow. Peter transformed into a rat and pulled the knot that made the tree immobilized, branches bound as hard as stone, making it safe for the boys to set foot.

They entered the willow, to use the passage to enter what most wizards who visit the village of Hogsmeade, "The Shrieking Shack" which was rumored to have bad mouthed spirits or ghosts.

The sounds of shrieks they heard of course, was the painful act of transformation Remus had to go through while becoming an uncontrollable and wild werewolf.

After a few painful minutes of waiting, the wolf had taken over.

His entire body started molding itself. Remus' physique became a lot taller and broader than his usual lanky and thin build, his posture became slouched and bunches of thick fur grew all over.

He of course, had no control of the wolf inside his body. It took over, just like every other full moon ever since he was bitten.

A large stag, a flat snouted dog and an almost unnoticeable rat kept company, making sure their friend, hidden under the thick mop of fur would not bloody up himself too bad.

The three marauders stayed by Remus' side during the the whole transformation, only leaving once the sun starts to rise up in order not to get caught by Madam Pomfrey once she comes back to bring him back in the Hospital Wing to and heal any wounds. And of course, she to helped restore the boy's strength, being exhausted from every rough night.

Sirius heard footsteps from a distance. "Let's get a move on, I think Poppy's coming". And with that, a rat, a stag and a dog had scampered off, taking a last glance at the boy.

Remus was forever thankful to have such great friends. They did not abandon him when they found out about his condition. Instead they made his transformations more bearable. They all became anamigus for him and Remus knew that anything he did for them was not enough to repay this kindness.
