It wasn't very pleasant, that night when I managed to escape.

The great manor is on fire, and inside, dead bodies are drowning in their own pool of blood  which is being eliminated to dust with the menacing devouring flame that brought the magnificent manor into a grotesque ruin. Then I heard voices of three from behind, voices that sounded like that of murderers. Were they the ones that created that inferno?! I hid behind a thick bush. I can't understand what they're saying but I can tell that they're marveling on their make-believe triumph on throwing the 'whole' family in hell.

"No one can hinder us now!" One of them shouted then the others grabbed him and they fled into the darkness of the night.

I sat heavily on the dirt as rain pour down from the dark veil of clouds. They stung like needles on my scorched skin that is releasing steam as the rain collides with it. But this physical pain is nothing from the pain I'm feeling within me. The cry of heavens is trying to nullify the rage within me just as it tries to put off all the fire on the now huge pile of charcoal, futile.

I let the rain wash away the blood, the burnt skin, and replenish my strength. Before leaving I went into the manor, there's less fire now. As I ventured in, I noticed a familiar purse and the lady beside it.

Vienna. She recognized her sister. Then one by one, she noticed everyone's dead face is staring at her. 'Why didn't you save us?' they seem to be saying. As her failure dawned her, she let out a high-pitched deafening shriek that reverberated throughout the village. 'It's too late' she thought and disregarded the bodies around her. She went towards the metal safe box, almost the size of a small fridge, and unlocked it using a huge rock from the ruin. 'Safe' she thought as she grab the huge square brief case.

I started on my journey unto the dark hellish abyss of the forest that is surrounding the now burnt manor. I made my way downhill not caring if I trip, fall, or get wounded. It doesn't matter. I'd get out of here and get my vengeance to those fools who have thought to have eliminated everyone. I'm smiling devilishly. They have just unleashed the monster within me.
