When Luigi woke up, he found himself outside lying down before the door. When he remembered Yleine and Faile, he tried to force his way in but the door is locked. He went up at the backside of the mansion too and found the door still open. Everything is still in there except for one. Yleine is no longer there and Faile too. Has he been guarding her too? He asked himself while double checking every nook of the house. Impossible, he argued to himself, if that is true then I shouldn't have found her engaged in those situations.
He closed the door before leaving from the same way but not empty handed. He took those evidences and brought them to William who's neither pleased nor enraged. "So that girl is her servant huh" the old man leaned at the back of his chair and closed his eyes. "Do you think your meeting was also planned?" "I don't think so sir, I was the one who approached first when she was being ganged up." "How about the other meetings?" "No. I just happened to be there in those times that she's being pursued." "So you trust she's innocent?" "No sir but I believe that our engagement wasn't planned." "And here I thought you finally found Persephone" William sighed. I too, Luigi said in his head.
The telephone on Luigi's table rang, and whoever it is, it's making him anxious. William called for his agent to trace the caller. He grabbed the phone and held it close to his ear. "Hello there" the familiar hissing raspy voice greeted. Faile! Luigi realized. "Where did you take her?" Luigi asked quickly. "Somewhere safe" he answered playfully but something in his tone is saying that he's serious. Away from you, he continued in his head. "Give her back" Luigi demanded. "And what? So you could torture her?" he asked that made Luigi grit his teeth. He's already planning to do so. "She's just a poor innocent girl whom you just met and treated kindly. And when you found her at that place, your wind suddenly changed. Can't you differentiate honest people from liars? Or you just felt betrayed?" Luigi can't say anything against it since he himself just realized after he heard him say it. "Then why didn't you helped her earlier?" Luigi challenged trying to get back at him. "If you think I was there watching the whole time, then you're wrong. She asked for my help while you're busy searching. You forgot to bound her mouth too until her skull breaks." Is he trying my patience?
"Now here's another poem for you"
The tiger's calm water
Has been disturbed by a boulder
From snow white hare that brings no harm
You've just lost your lucky charm"Do I have to decode that again?" Luigi asked trying to calm himself down after writing the poem down. "You don't need to" he answered then added, "the fourth line is what matters." "We can't trace him" William's agent mouthed who has been trying to track the caller's location. Luigi dropped the phone on the table before his hand could crush it and went towards the window hoping for the wind to cool him down. "Be prepared to get your bones crush next, Tiger" Faile added then the line died. "He's mocking you" William realized after reading the poem and also the encircled word and line together. "Do you know why Persephone thinks you've lost it?" William asked puzzled. "I'm not sure sir, but she might be pertaining to Yleine."
William sat down and immersed himself in deep thinking. Going with the situation, could it be that Yleine can help us—of course she could! But with her limited knowledge of her master, we won't be able to squeeze anything from her. Lucky charm, is useful when you badly wanted something to happen. And if she is Luigi's... The thing we wanted badly right now is to retrieve my daughter's seal but she can't tell us the information we needed. That vigilante too. If only we could catch them both. But I can't repay kindness with rudeness, can I? How ungrateful I would be.
"Don't move around too much, I only gave you preliminary aid" Faile told Yleine who's trying to get up from the bed. "Just be grateful that your bones didn't break with the tightness of how he bound you." Yleine sighed and gave up. She's just lying motionless on the bed while her wrists and ankles hurt more than a gunshot. "Why didn't you shoot him?" he asked while sitting on the floor with his head perched on one of his hands. "I can't" she weakly answered. "Why." "Because he's been saving me." "And now he's the one hurting you." "I don't know how he got here." "I do" the man said nonchalantly and laid down on the cold floor. "Because I gave him a clue." "What?!" Yleine shouted in anger. "I was expecting that he won't be able to solve it quick. Though I still think he can't. Someone must've helped him" he explained unapologetically. He doesn't care. "But I didn't expect him to act that way. I thought he would calmly take the situation but I was wrong" he continued. "That man won't" Yleine agreed while staring into the distant. "Because he was raised as a monster, not as an angelic beast." "What now?" he asked after a little silence. "Let's just do things like we're told to do. And if were caught, then it is game over for us."
