The month was seeing one of its last days of its warm sun and afternoons were warmer outside rather than within the four walls. Sakura and Syaoran were seated beside each other in a freshly trimmed garden looking at tiny little sparrows bickering on dry trees.
Sakura noticed one of the birds trying its best to stay away from the rest of the group, getting constantly annoyed by the other's display of friendliness. Sakura teased Syaoran pointing out that the bird was probably his soul creature.
"Sorry to keep you waiting." Kaguya walked up to them. Syaoran immediately sensed a hint of high refinement and class in the way she presented herself.
She was at her own home, but she was dressed in seamless pants and a pastel cardigan. Her hair was tied up sleekly into a pony and her lips were dabbed with a hint of peach.
A second person followed her. His eyes were slightly hidden by his auburn hair and his glasses made him look a little less youthful.
"No no! We were just looking around." Sakura smiled.
"We returned home only a month back, thank goodness we cleaned up the lawn." the man replied kindly.
"Let me introduce you, this is my husband, Kazuma." Kaguya spoke with a heartful smile.
"Nice to meet you." Syaoran stood up to shake his hand. Looking at him behaving so formally, Sakura wondered what he must be like at work. Her heart unnecessarily flustered a little.
