Mike's P.O.V.

It was around 9 o'clock and we were both getting ready for bed. I was brushing my teeth and Will was in my room. Earlier was so awkward and I didn't know what to say. I'm really hoping it doesn't make things weird between us. I walked out of the bathroom while smoothing out my shirt. Then I felt another body slam against mine.

"Shit! Sorry." I said, looking up. It was Will. He looked up at me too. His hazel eyes twinkling in the dim hallway light. "It's fine." He laughed. I did too. "I uhh, I feel bad asking but I didn't plan on staying the night here when I left for school this morning. I didn't bring pajamas, do you think I could borrow some of yours? If not that's totally fine." I laughed at Will. He was so shy and adorable. "Of course you can borrow some of mine." I said.

We walked into my room and I grabbed him some plaid pajama pants and a matching long sleeve shirt. "Thanks." He said and walked to the bathroom. I closed my closet door and grabbed a comic. I started to read it and then the door swung open. Will was wearing my pajamas but they were way to big on him. The pants were too long and the sleeves fell past his hands. "They're a little big." Will said while trying to roll up the sleeves. They just kept falling back down. "I can see that." I laughed and stood up. Will looked adorable in my clothes that were too big for him. He was just standing in the doorway and that was enough to make my heart go crazy.

"Uhm, well are you ready for bed?" I asked. He nodded and took his usual side on my mattress. I turned off the lights and laid next to him. We were both facing up towards the ceiling. It was dark in here. "Mike?" Will spoke up suddenly. "Yeah?" I turned towards him and he did the same. We are now facing each other about a foot apart. "Maybe we don't have to stop doing those things?" He asked. "I thought you didn't want to anymore? Y'know because friends don't do those things." I was confused. This is what he wanted, right? "I mean we don't have to stop as long as other people don't see us? If you're okay with that." It was dark in here so I know he couldn't see it but I still smiled any way. It was a big smile. "I don't mind." I said. "Cool."

I could feel Will moving closer so I did the same. He yawned and I stopped moving. He's just tired. He's probably half asleep. That's the only reason he's doing this. I couldn't help myself though. Will had laid is head on my chest and my heart melted. We have cuddled before but now it felt... different. I wanted this. I wanted to feel Will's head against my chest every night. I wanted to hold his hand every second of every day. Maybe I am gay? Or bi? It's not like I did like boys but, Will. Will was different. He made me feel these butterflies whenever I was around him. I always pushed those feelings to the side but I think tonight I finally learned to except them upon myself. I melted into Will's touch and drifted off to sleep. No problems.

~the next day~

"Shhh!! They're sleeping!" A familiar voice sounded at the doorway. They were whispering vigorously. Snap! "Shit that was loud, sorry." The other said. What the hell was going on? I sat up a tiny bit causing Will to wake up. "Ugh. What's going on?" He groaned. I sat up fully and rubbed my eyes. Two figures slowly started to appear in the doorway. Nancy and Jonathan. "What the hell, Nancy?!" I shrieked. Will sat up all the way, obviously confused at what was going on. I heard some more laughter and they both ran away. "What was that all about?" Will asked, rubbing his eyes. His hair was adorably messy and he looked so cute. I jumped out of bed and pulled the blanket off Will. "Will! Will get up! Nancy and Jonathan saw us!" Will slowly but surely crawled out of bed. He was taking forever. I grabbed his hand and practically dragged him out of the bedroom and downstairs to the kitchen. He was still sleepy and rubbing his eyes but we made our way down there. Nancy and Jonathan were standing behind the kitchen counter giggling. "They look so cute!" Nancy shrieked. Jonathan laughed and looked up at Will and I standing in the door frame. His eyes slowly trailed down to our hands. It was only then I realized our fingers were still interlocked. I quickly jerked my hand away. They both gave me the smirk and looked back down at the camera.

Will was too sleepy to comprehend anything that was going on. We both sat down in front of the couple without saying a word. Jonathan slowly turned the camera towards me and Will. I leaned in to get a better look. It was a picture of the two of us before we woke up. Will was snuggled up next to me with his head on my chest. My head was propped up on top of his, my arms wrapped around his torso. I blushed really bad but, stayed quiet and looked down at the floor. "What is it? Let me see." Will said, grabbing the camera out of Jonathan's hands. He gasped. "Ooooooo!! They're blushing!" Nancy squealed. "Shut up, Nancy." I said in a very serious tone. "So, how long?" Jonathan asked. How long what? He must've noticed our confused faces. "How long have you two, ya know, been together?" I looked at Will wide-eyed. He looked back at me with the same expression. "We're not- we're not d-dating." He stammered. Nancy sighed. "You're lying." She said, quick and simple. "What?! No we're not! We're not dating!" I yelled. "Relax, Mike. We aren't going to judge you. It's completely fine if you like each other. There's nothing wrong with it." Jonathan said and Nancy nodded in agreement. "That's the thing. We don't like each other." Will said quietly. Not going to lie, that one hurt. "Whatever you say but, just so you know, friends don't look at each other the way you two do." And with that the older couple left the room, saying nothing more. Leaving Mike and Will in complete shock.
