THE NEXT MORNING AURORA DID EVERYTHING IN HER POWER TO AVOID HER FRIENDS, considering she was a year above them it wasn't so hard, that was until they all cornered her in the common room.

She didn't want to cry, but being surrounded by all of the people that hurt her not so long ago made her feel vulnerable. Yet she stayed strong staring back at them with a blank look on her face.

"We need to talk." Fred said as he took a step closer to her, trying to reach out and grab her hand but she quickly backed away from him.

"No I'd rather not talk to any of you, but thanks for the offer." She turned to leave but Lee gently grabbed her and pulled her back.

"To bad Rory, you have to forgive me, it was mistake. I promise that I won't do it again, and I forced this lot to cover for me so don't blame them." Fred pledged with her.

"A mistake you made for four months." Aurora pointed out with a raised eyebrow. She wasn't going to show him how much he hurt her, because if she did she was afraid he would do something and she would take him back. He needed to be under the impression that she didn't care anymore. "I may be able to forgive Lee and George someday, but you and Angelina? Never."

Angelina, who was silently crying through the whole conversation, finally decided to speak up.

"Rory please I- I didn't mean to do this to you. I don't know why I did he's just- I don't know I couldn't help it. I'm so sorry Rory please forgive me, we're best friends forever remember?" Angelina begged as she looked in to Auroras eyes, crying harder when she realized that she was about to loose her best friend over a mistake she regrets greatly.

"You knew how much I loved him Angelina." Aurora looked up at her friend, ignoring Fred's fallen face as she said loved. She didn't love him anymore. "Best friends don't sleep with each others boyfriends. If he makes a move on you you come and tell me. If he won't leave you alone you tell me. You don't take it upon yourself to sleep with him, more than once may I add. If you had any respect for me you would have done the right thing. But you didn't, and that's something I can't forgive you for." A few tears fell down her face, the pain was once again winning over, no matter how brave she tried to be.

"So your really going to let a boy tear us apart?" Angelina sobbed.

"No Angelina, you did that all by yourself" Aurora said quietly. If was true, Fred hadn't ruined their friendship, Angelina did. Fred on the other hand had ruined the best thing that ever happened to him.

Fred scoffed from beside Angelina, catching the groups attention rather quickly.

"Don't you think you're overreacting Rory? I mean seriously, it happened last night. It's over and done with, stop holding grudges. You've always been so hard headed." Fred said sternly. Auroras heart cracked even more, he sounded as if what he did was no big deal. Like she was the one in the wrong. She wasn't the one in the wrong right? She was doing the right thing?

"What's going on here?" A Scottish voice sounded from behind Aurora. She turned around only for her eyes to meet the ones of Oliver Wood, relaxing slightly when she realized she wasn't as vulnerable with him there. She wasn't alone.

Oliver had been leaving his dorm room when he heard commotion from downstairs, deciding that he should go check it out once he heard Auroras pained voice. He now stood behind her, his eyes narrowed at Fred as her words from last night played over in his head violence doesn't solve anything.

"Wow." Fred started as he looked between Aurora and Oliver with a disgusted look on his face. "Found yourself a new boy toy already I see. Are you trying to make me jealous Rory? Really, there is no need. I'll take you back, all you have to do is ask." He said with a small smirk, once again making it seem like she was the one who did something wrong. Like she was the one who broke their relationship.

"Watch your mouth mate." Oliver let out a low growl, walking further a bit more until his chest was against Auroras back. If this was any other situation, she would probably be turned on. But then she remembered the situation and the fact that the person standing behind her was Oliver.

She reached back and grabbed his wrist, she could feel him shaking in anger and didn't want him to do something he would later regret.

"Fred, why are you making it sound like I did the wrong thing? You, my boyfriend of two years, slept with Angelina, my best friend of five years, and you think I'm in the wrong? Sounds like you need a reality check if you ask me. I don't regret leaving you, it was the right thing to do. You never loved me and you proved it to me yourself." Aurora spoke strongly, with Oliver there she had some confidence.

"Good thing I didn't ask." Fred gave her a sarcastic look, Olivers body started to shake more causing Aurora to lower her hand and grab onto his clenched one to try and calm him a bit. Then, Fred decided to let release the final blow. "You say you're not in the wrong, but you're really just the same as me. I mean seriously? We broke up last night and you're already out becoming another mans slut-"

The word hurt. But she didn't have long to sit and think over it considering Oliver let out another animalistic growl before gently moving her out of the way, he marched over to Fred before bringing his arm back and colliding his fist with Fred's face. Auroras mouth, along with everyone else's in the room, dropped open in shock as Oliver grabbed onto Fred's shirt color and slammed him into a wall.

"If you ever. And I mean ever speak to her like that again I won't hesitate to fucking hex you all the way back to London." He said darkly, Fred's eyes were wide as he stared at his quidditch captain in disbelief, how did he go from quidditch obsessed freak to Mr. I'll Kick Your Ass in seconds? Oliver leaned down to Freds ear, whispering more threats that the group couldn't hear, but could tell they must have been bad due to the look on Fred's face, before letting Fred go he slammed him back into the wall once more before walking over to a shocked Aurora.

"Why didn't you do something?!" Fred yelled at George and Lee who were staring at him with a shocked look on their faces.

"You deserved it." They said together. Fred let out a huff before sending Aurora and Oliver one last glare before barging out of the common room, George, Lee, and Angelina all on his tail.

Oliver took in her shocked expression and hurriedly started to explain himself.

"Look Aurora, I'm sorry I turned to violence but when he said that I just-" he was cut off by her jumping forward into his arms, which quickly wrapped around her as he let out a sigh of relief. She wasn't mad.

"Thank you." She pulled back to smile up at him.

Oliver smiled back, happy that she wasn't mad at him, before he winced and pulled away from her.

Aurora looked down at his hand, which was the reason for his wince, and took it gently in hers. It was already bruising and there was a cut, which she guessed was from something else, that had once again split open when he punched Fred.

"Come on I'll clean it up for you." She said as she grabbed his other hand and started to pull him towards her dorm room.

"Oliver?"

"Yes Rory?"

"Thank you."

"Anytime love."
