6. Sope Part 1

This story was created by my friend Loreal and she asked me to post her oneshot on my account. There will be a couple of parts for it so stay if you would like to read them.

The summer breeze was nice though the park. The sun was going down, the plants dance with the wind, the lake was shining, and the smell of flowers flowed through the air. Roses, lilies, you know the basics. But that one smell made Yoongi grip tightly on the handle of the bench. Carnations. He hates the smell and sight of it. It just reminds him of painful memories. Memories that will never go away.

Two years ago

He was in his sophomore year at music university when he catches a scent that captivates him and his wolf. The smell of carnations fills his nostrils as a girl with sandy brown hair, light sparking skin, deep black velvety eyes, and a beautiful smile walk past him. She was wearing a yellow dress that matches her well She was walking with a girl who he presumes was her friend. Yoongi felt his heart race and his mind clearing everything; it was him and her, no one else.

Mate

From that moment on he would try everything to just bump into her and talk to her. He got her name, Ariana. Ariana fitted her so well. After a few talks, they started hanging out becoming friends, and then finally what Yoongi had hoped more a couple. Everything was great, nothing was wrong. They were happily dating but after a few months, Yoongi felt her slipping away. She wouldn't look at him the same way he looks at her. When she smile or talk to him he could tell nothing was going into it. The same love and affection in her eyes weren't there when they kept going with the relationship. It disappears slowly. What replaces that love and affection that was in the relationship was replaced by a cage dipped in venom, being held by what he use to called lover and mate.

"What is wrong with you?!" Ariana's shouts ring through the whole apartment. Yoongi stood there looking at her with an expressionless face. It was one of their petty arguments. Again.

"Aren't you gonna answer me?!" She screams into his face as she took a step closer. Yoongi's hands shake, he felt his knees give out, and he heard his wolf whimper.

"I-I'm s-sorry," Yoongi whispers out with a few stutters. It's happening again. The same thing that's been happening for the last few months. The arguments have been a routine for them for a long time. The point of the argument was always lost. It hurts every time he gets yelled at her. Did I do something wrong? Why did I do that? You idiot.

"I told you to ask me every time you have to meet anyone?! Why didn't you listen?! Are you stupid?!" Ariana she took her hand and then point him right in his chest. Hard. Yoongi face didn't say anything, but he felt like shit inside. His wolf whimper with a scare and sadness in his tone.

It's getting better than last time we only mess up one time. His wolf sad yet cheerful tone. Snapping got him out of his trance.

"Hey, you listening?! You are even lucky I even decided to be with you! You worthless piece of shit!"

"I-I k-know Aria-"

"Don't you say my name. You don't deserve to even think of it you, mistake." She was mono but deadly. She had a plain disappointment lingering in her eyes. Yoongi gulp as those words fell out of her mouth. His breathing hitch before he fell into a full-blown panic attack. his eyes flew open, his mouth gape open, he felt his heart skip a beat, and tears trickling down his face. He took a few steps back and look up at her face. His wolf whimper even louder inside his head as he saw her angry eyes meet his. His instinct of seeing his mate's distress made him go closer to hug her anything to stop her looking like that and to give reassurance that everything would be ok.
