Chapter Five

3rd Person POV

All of the ninja gather up deck to hear about Lloyds plan. But just as he was about to start, he makes eye contact with (Y/n) and his mind immediately wonders elsewhere.

He thought about the kiss the two of them shared and couldn't help but want it to happen again.

"Lloyd?" Kai calls his name to get his attention.

"Uh, yes?" Lloyd asks.

"You were about to tell us your plan?" Nya answers. Lloyd notices all of their stares on him and he clears his throat before speaking.

"Oh, right. Uh, so we have no idea where the third Oni Mask is, and they already have two of them. This organization must have a leader, so I say we find out who the one behind all of this is." Lloyd starts.

"And how exactly would we do that?" Jay asks.

"Pix." Lloyd signals for her to speak.

"The police have custody of someone, whom is a part of the Sons of Garmadon. He is supposed to be released today." P.I.X.A.L. says showing them the person on the screen.

"I was thinking we could ask him some questions and find out who he works for." Lloyd finishes.

"He has refused to give up any information to the police." P.I.X.A.L. adds.

"I'm sure we'll get through to him one way or another." Kai smirks, cracking his knuckles.

"How do you propose we get him to talk? He's not going to give up that kind of information willingly." (Y/n) says.

"Don't worry. I have an idea." Lloyd replies.

"But what if a Time Blade appears while we are gone?" Cole asks.

"That's why Jay, Nya, Kai, and Pix will stay here just in case anything happens. I also want you guys to watch over Harumi while we're gone."

(Y/n) looks at Lloyd confused. She was expecting herself to be included in the group staying on the bounty.

Lloyd glances at her and motions for her to follow him after dismissing everyone.

(Y/n) follows him but isn't sure what's about to happen. Is he going to tell her that she actually can't come on this mission and wants her to stay? Or does he want to ask about the kiss?

(Y/n) would honestly rather Lloyd tell her she can't come than talk about the kiss. She wasn't quite sure what she'd tell him.

"Lloyd, where are we going?" (Y/n) asks, and Lloyd suddenly pauses for a good minute like he's thinking about something.

"I need to know. I don't care what the answer is... I need to know so I can have a clear head if and when we go into battle." Lloyd finally speaks.

"What do you want to know?" (Y/n) asks even though she already knew what this was about.

"Why did you kiss me?"

There is was.

The question she had been wondering herself. But she knew she couldn't answer with an "I don't know".

Lloyd wants a real answer so his mind doesn't keep overthinking things.

(Y/n) wasn't sure if she actually likes him. She was more worried about if Lloyd still felt the same about her.
