(Y/n)'s POV

"Hey, we're back!" Kai shouts.

I slowly enter the room when I hear the others.

"And we brought someone with us." Jay says gesturing to the princess.

I roll my eyes ignoring the girl in front of me. "While you guys were gone, something happened to Sensei Wu. He said he had to do something at the Old Monastery. When P.I.X.A.L. and I went to check on him, he was fighting some guy and now something terrible has happened to him." I announce.

"Will he be okay?" Jay asks.

"I'm not sure. P.I.X.A.L. and Misako are with him now trying to find out what's wrong. I don't think it's anything too serious." I answer. At least I hope it isn't.

After hearing that, the ninja's made sure they checked up on him.

"(Y/n), this is Harumi. Harumi, this is (Y/n)." Kai introduces us. "She's a princess." He whispers into my ear.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Harumi says with a sweet, soft tone and a warm smile.

"Yeah, can't say the same for you, princess." I mumble coldly instead of returning the same fake smile. "Why are you here anyways?"

"(Y/n)." Lloyd elbows my arm.

"What?" Did I do something wrong?

"We need to talk." Lloyd grabs my wrist and pulls me aside after Kai gives him a look. What's going on?

I had hurt my wrist in the previous fight with one of the Time Twins. I didn't want to burden the others with it or have them thinking I was weak or something. I decided that it wasn't that bad and would probably heal in a couple of days.

I bit my lip trying to forget the pain I was in. "So now you want to talk to me?" I say once he lets go.

"Be nice to Rumi. She's a princess and just lost the only family she has. Show some respect." He replies, ignoring the question I asked.

"Oh, respect I can give. Being nice to her? Yeah, I don't know about that. And it's very informal of you to call her by that nickname."

"What? Jealous?" Lloyd says hoping for some kind of reaction out of me.

"Pffft, me? Jealous of that spoiled brat? Nope, not a chance."

"Before you go saying stuff like that, get to know her. She puts on a mask when she's with other people. You should get to know the real Rumi."

"I think it's you who should get to know the real Harumi." I say under my breath as I turn around, walking away.

Lloyd grabs my wrist, stopping me. "Ouch." Why does he have to grab the wrist that hurts?

"Sorry..." He lets go of my wrist, "Kai talked to me, and I think I'm finally ready to hear your explanation of what happened that day."

"Okay...then. You were right. I didn't mean anything I said before I left. I.. I just didn't know what else to do. I'm really sorry. The truth is... I kinda.. like yo-"

"Hey, Lloyd. I need your help with something!" Nya shouts, interrupting the moment Lloyd and I were having.

"Be there in a sec!" Lloyd yells back and then turns his attention back to me. "I get it, (Y/n). I forgive you. I also don't want our fighting to continue. I get that you don't feel the same way I do, and I have to get over that. Now what was the last part? I didn't quite catch it."

"Don't worry about it. Go help Nya. I'll apologize to Harumi when I get the chance." Apologize, my ass. She deserves it.

"Okay. See you later!" He says and runs off with a smile on his face. Though as he was leaving, I could've sworn I saw it slowly fade into a frown.
