A Day Later After Chapter 3*

Elizabeth's POV*

I was sitting close by The Demon Of Food himself and we were watching Erina's Food War against this Godabayashi Sumo Wrestler fellow.

She beat him with perfect scores across the board and watched from the jumbotron as she moved onward with the construction of her personal food annex.

I got up and prepared to leave since I had class when The Demon Of Food asked, "What did you think of this match?".

I kept walking and said, "Erina was a bit harsh to Godabayashi, but sometimes that's how things have to be in order to move forward and learn from it. You've made it very clear that in order to succeed in this school, you have to be the harshest cook you can be.".

He hummed as I headed out.

1 Week Later*

Soma, Megumi, and I were all staring at a board full of Research Societies.

I thought maybe the bowl club could be used as a way to better the Japanese Cibo Et Laetitia branch.

Soma wanted to do it for the very same reason as he thought it might help out his Yukihira Eatery.

We dragged Megumi along as well.

When we arrived however we found the entire club was just one guy sitting in a chair sulking.

He looked at us and said, "Sorry, but you guys should turn and walk away. Bowl Clubs on is on its last leg. We're doomed to get shut down.".

We walked in and looked around while introducing ourselves.

The guy said, "I'm Konishi. I run things around here.".

Soma asked, "Are you okay?".

I said, "You seem kinda down.".

He said, "I couldn't even protect Bowl Club.".

Megumi said, "Look. A recipe book.".

Soma and I grabbed some and begun flipping through them.

Soma said, "Let's see here...".

I saw a wide variety of food.

I said, "They have high-end varieties of items while also having a wide variety of off-the-wall items.".

Soma said, "But they've all got their own unique spin. All these recipes are interesting.".

I asked, "Why are you guys shutting down?".

Konishi stood up with his hair somehow standing up and shocked by our responses asked, "You mean to say you guys get it?".

He started crying and Soma said, "He's crying.".

Konishi said, "The beauty of rice bowls is that they're fast, tasty, and cheap! They're manliness encapsulated in a single bowl! It's manly food for men who wage war! I, as a man, won't die until I've thoroughly mastered the art of the bowl!".

Megumi said, "He's a little strange, huh?".

Soma said, "A bit too intense for comfort.".

I said, "Bit too intense for me.".

Konishi sat down and said, "My precious Bowl Club. If only it weren't for Erina Nakiri!".

I hummed and Konishi said, "This is how she does things: First, she suggests that the Council cut the budget or take space away from groups she doesn't like. And she forces the motion through. She grinds people down until the only option remaining is...".
