Invitation Only ~ Fred Weasley

TWENTYNINE

Time went by and things at Hogwarts only got worse. One morning they woke up to the news that Umbridge was appointed High Inquisitor and had influence on the school. It seemed like as the time went by and the days got darker, so did the mood. Umbridge was a nightmare. Viola hadn't heard from Sirius in a while and a tight know in her chest always tightened every time she thought of him. Most of the slytherins were stoked to have Umbridge on top, but Viola and Jamie wasn't. They hated her with every inch of their being and that hatred only swelled up even more, when Viola learned that she had done the exact same thing to Harry that she had done to her.

Around Halloween, Viola was so determined to make life a living hell for Umbridge that she got detention more and more. Her hand was cut up every time and it took longer and longer to heal. Hermione was trying to make Harry and Viola tell Dumbledore, but they both denied. They shared the same opinion. That it was a private battle between them. She couldn't believe that her final year was going to be that horrible. It was like someone had stolen a very valuable artefact from her.

With rules rapidly increasing, it became harder and harder to meet up with Fred. It was almost impossible to sneak into Gryffindor's common room at that point, and they were often caught together by either Filch or Umbridge or the Inquisitorial squad. Fred became more and more scared for Viola, since she already had so many detentions going on, so he was reluctant to meet up at night. But as Viola begged him, he agreed to meet up if they could be absolutely sure they wouldn't get caught. They made good use of his and George's skiving snackboxes and met up during the day. Sometimes in the Astronomy tower and other times in empty classrooms. Sex became a rare occasion and they were both left frustrated by that fact. And whenever they got to do it, it didn't last long, because they were both afraid to get caught. That intimacy they shared during the summer was fading away, but it was out of their hands.

One day, Hermione had asked Viola to meet her and the others at Hog's Head Inn. Her and Harry presented the most excellent idea to start up a group to study Defence Against The Dark Arts properly. She signed immediately and so did Jamie. The next day it was forbidden to meet up in groups. It was getting too much.

It seemed like everything was going against them until one day, her enchanted galleon had started to get warm and presented time and place. Excitement filled her body when she now had something to look forward to.

The night of the first meeting, Viola and Jamie followed the instructions and showed up on the 7th floor. They did as instructed and a door appeared. They went inside to find Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, the twins, Neville and Luna Lovegood. Viola smiled wide when she saw her favourite people greet her with smiles as well. Her and Jamie grabbed one of the seating pillows and seated themselves. Viola, of course, placed herself beside Fred and leaned into him. He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close.

"Sometimes I miss the time when I was the only guy in your life." Jamie said, sarcastically scoffing, but then chuckled. About a month prior, Jamie had officially come out of the closet. This meant that Fred wasn't so stiff around him anymore. Fred laughed back at Jamie.

"Sucks to be you, Jamie, you have to share the spotlight with me." Fred snickered and chuckled with Jamie.

"And me!" George said from Fred's side.

"Must be nice to be so courted." Ginny said and rolled her eyes.

"That's coming from you?" Viola asked in disbelief and laughed. "You have every boy wrapped around your little finger."

"Better pack that finger away, little sister." George said firmly. "Remember you have 6 big brothers."

"5." Fred said harshly. "Percy being such a twat, he doesn't deserve the title of being her big brother."
George agreed and rolled his eyes by the thought of their brother. More people emerged and the meeting began.
