Wow, this story just makes me so emotional idek why. But thanks for reading! You guys are gr8. Much love.

Eden has gotten much better since the day Liam watched her. By short chance, her fever dropped today, the day before her birthday as well as her party, and her congestion has cleared up. Harry's only had to settle her down from a nightmare once over the course of these stressful three days.

Harry was out buying groceries and utensils for the party tomorrow. He wanted to make sure all of his guests did not leave hungry so whatever the amount of items he was going to buy, he doubled. Harry was down the crisps and crackers aisle when he saw a woman struggling to reach the last bag of Doritos on the top shelf. He quickly ran to assist the petite woman. "Here, I got it," he said stretching his long arms to reach the bag and hand it to the seemingly nice lady.

"Thank you, sir," she said beaming her bold, gray eyes at his emerald green ones. Harry was dumbfounded, because up until now, he thought the most beautiful girl in the world was his daughter. "No problem," he said with his tall stature towering over the olive skinned, dark haired woman.

"Need something?" she said raising an eyebrow in curiosity as she turned to push her cart around. "Uh- no, uhm. I was just wondering if- uhm. Wow, you look so familiar," he said giving a confused look with the relaxation of his muscles.

"Really?" she ran a hand through her long plum colored hair. "I'm pretty sure I've seen you on signs along the road and such," she said making hand gestures. "You're that real estate guy, yeah?" she finally put her finger on where she's seen him before.

Harry turned around and pulled the cart closer to him in fear of someone bothering his daughter. "Yes, I am actually. Aren't you the professional trainer at the gym on the corner of 3rd?" he said pointing his hand in some odd direction that wasn't even relevant.

"Actually, no," she gave a small laugh, "but I am a school teacher at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive. I get that a lot though," she said.

"How lovely," he said with the cheeky smile that gets to everybody. "May I get a name?" he said moving closer to her.

"Amelia."

His heart dropped to his stomach. No, more like it jumped into his throat. He started to get light headed and gripped the cart. "Are you okay?" she said putting a hand on his bicep.

"Don't touch me," he said looking at her with fury in his eyes. He knew who this was, but she was still trying to pretend like her cover wasn't blown.

She quickly removed her hand from his arm. She tried to speak but choked on her words, until she finally let out a defeated sigh, took a deep breath, and straightened up.

"Hi, Harry," she said heavily, slightly audible.

"Why are you here, of all places? And why us, of all people?" he said standing in front of Eden, signalling protection from her abandoning mother.

"Can I please explain this to you somewhere else? This is not an appropriate time or place," she said pressing her fingers to the bridge of her nose.

Poor Harry had to take all of this in in a bloody grocery store, the day before his daughters first birthday, with her sitting right there witnessing the whole thing. "Okay. Meet me at Nandos Thursday at 4. You better not be late," he said rapidly grabbing his cart and speed walking to the check out.

Harry went home that day and totally fell apart. He's been holding it together for over 6 months, for the sake of his daughter. Everything he did, everything he lived for, the reason he was still here, was all because of Eden. Her being at the store today totally meesed him up. Questions upon questions upon emotions began to pile in his mind. He was sitting at the dining room table, tears streaming down his face as if the number was unlimited. He ran both of his fingers through his hair and tugged on his curls. He slammed his hands on the table and stood up from his chair.

Charging to the cabinet, he pulled the hidden bottle of liquor and half full bottle of pain medication. He opened the bottle of liquor and put the opening to his mouth. Before he tilted the bottle, he realized what the consequences would be if he went back into this dark lifestyle again. Eden needs him.

It seemed like everything he did revovled around her. His schedule, his actions, his behavior, his character. He had no problem with it, but he knew he'd have to watch her over her twice as much and twice as hard now that Amelia was back. His everything, his life, was this little girl, and no one was going to destroy what he held close.

{ OH MY LOD, she's back....where do you think this is going to lead to? I'm a little curious myself ;) So Eden turns one tomorrow!!! I'm in love with this child and she's not even real, what. HA! I may or may not update tonight, but if I don't, I definitely will tomorrow! :) Comment, vote, share. xoxo }
