I LITERALLY CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS STORY OH MY GOD. I hope you guys like it so far. I kind of had writers block earlier, but now my creative juices are flowing so YAYAYAYAY

Harry sat at the dining room table as he was rummaging through papers, booking arrangements for his daughters first birthday party. He wanted to make it special, but not too extravagant. He was thinking they could have sleds in the backyard, a hot chocolate cart, even though it would not be that cold that night. Even though he agreed not to make it a huge party, he loves spoiling her.

He would shoot a glance at Eden ever so often as she sat on the floor watching her simultaneously build a structure out of building blocks while watching Looney Tunes, her favorite morning cartoon, just to make sure she was not getting into any kind of trouble. She had rebuilt and redemolished her block tower several times just for her entertainment, but Harry was getting a kick out of it because every time, she would say "uh-oh" and laugh 'til her sides nearly split.

"You're a silly one, aren't ya?" he said getting up to pour himself another cup of coffee. Eden started babbling to Harry as he sat on the living room floor with her, pretending to have an intriguing conversation with her until someone rang the door bell.

He set the coffee on the table behind him, scooped up Eden, and answered the door, come to find an eager Liam waiting at the door. "Hey, mate!" Liam said with the biggest grin. "And hello, beautiful," he said shaking Eden's hand with his index finger. "Please, come in," Harry invited as he stepped aside.

Harry shut the door and asked, "So what brings you by?" obviously knowing it had something to do with Eden.

"Well, I know planning a party is stressful, especially doin' it by yourself, so I was wondering if you needed any help," he said trying to hide in the intense excitement that was building up inside of him. He couldn't help the fact that he was practically in love with this little one.

"Um, I've almost got everything planned. I just need to set up the bookings, but you can come over Thursday and help set up all day if you'd like," he said scratching the back of his neck, trying to mentally find a spot for Liam. He knew Liam would not stop poking at his side until he found some way he could spend time with Eden.

"Awesome! Thank you. What are you and this princess doing today?" he said grabbing Eden from Harry because she forcefully leaned towards him.

"Nothing really, I have to go show a house around 2. Would you like to watch her?" In the moment, Harry didn't remember how attached Liam was getting to Eden, but who's he hurting by doing so?

"I would love to! How's about I just bring her over to my place?" he said giving her her la-la.

"Okay, that's fine. I'll just go upstairs and pack her bag," but before he moved Liam spoke up.

"I already have stuff at my house for her," he said. Harry was questioning whether he should let her go or not considering the curiosity he had as to why Liam already had stuff at his house for Eden.

"Well, okay. She goes down for a nap around 12:30 and she eats right before." Harry already knew that he knew, he wanted to make sure Liam knew what he was doing when it came to taking care of his daughter.

"Got it, mate. See you around 4," Liam said as he bundled the baby up in his jacket, to keep her face from the bone-chilling winds, and carefully shut the door.

When Harry came through the front door of Liam's flat, dressed in his suit and tie for his work attire, he went upstairs already knowing Liam was up there. He slowly opened the door to find Eden asleep in the playpen next to Liam's bed. "Liam," Harry said trying to wake him to notify him that Eden was going home. "Hm?" he said with his eyes still closed. "Eden and I are going home. Thanks a million," he said giving him a pat on the shoulder. When Harry picked a sleeping Eden up out of her playpen, he noticed how warm she was and how red her cheeks were. She was still sleeping when he picked her up and laid her head on his shoulder, but she was sweating quite a lot and this never happens. Harry just wrapped her up in a few blankets and ran her to the warm vehicle.

That night Eden refused to eat her dinner and was constantly coughing to the point of violent gagging. Harry could hear the congestion in her tone and it concerned him deeply. "My poor baby," he mumbled feeling her forehead for the thousandth time. He grabbed his phone off of the counter and texted Liam.

Harry: Did you ever take Eden outside today?

Liam: Yeah, for a bit. She wanted to play in the snow, but we were only out there for fifteen minutes.

Harry: Okay...

Harry didn't know whether to get mad or let it go. Most of the time, he's let it go, but he was a little peaved due to the fact it's three days before her birthday and her party.

"Okay, love. Let's get you some congestion medicine," he said searching through the cabinet above the refridgerator. Luckily, he found some Kids Tylenol on the back left hand side. Being the good girl she is, Eden took her medicine without fussing or resistance, for she enjoyed the grape taste.

"That's my brave girl, yeah?" Harry said with a smile, clapping his hands to get Eden to jump in them, but the poor thing didn't have enough energy to. She raised her hands and said, "Up," just above a mumbling. He picked up the weak toddler and her head immediately met his shoulder. As he carried her up the stairs rubbing her back, she coughed to the point of soft cries. She was in so much pain and Harry felt horrible about the fact that he couldn't take it away from her. "It's okay, baby, it's bedtime anyways," he said kissing the side of her cheek, almost at her ear lobe.

As changed her diaper and put her in some cooler clothing, he decided she would sleep in his bed tonight, just because he didn't want to leave his sick daughter by herself in case she needed something. He stuck a washcloth under some lukewarm water and began to wipe her forehead and neck with it to keep her at a reasonable body warmth. He took her temperature an hour ago, which read 100.1 degrees, so she indeed had a fever.

"Okay, bug, it's night night time." The toddler remained silently sucking on the bottle of apple juice she had been given a few minutes ago. Harry flipped part of the cover off of the bed and sat on it with Eden still in his arms. Once his legs were under the covers, he laid his daughter on his bare chest and drew lazy patterns on her small back with his fingers. He hummed his favorite tune to her until she, as well as he, fell asleep.

{ Aw, poor baby is sick. So do you think Harry's mad at Liam about Eden being sick or do you think he's overthinking/overreacting? And I can't wait for Eden's party. Well I'm tired and I have school in the morning so until tomorrow :) Comment, vote, share! }
