11 - why

time flew by after your little talk with draco outside, your parents were still chattering away, talking about everything and anything and of course draco's eyes were still fixed on you and your movements but it didn't worry you too much.

"Well it's been a splendid evening but we better head home, it's getting quite late" your mother says she sits up from her chair,
"Ah yes I do suppose it's getting late" Lucius says.

You get up from your seat and as you were getting up you see your dress was hitched up way to high and showing a bit too much skin, so you re adjusted it down and you look over at Draco, he quickly looks away once your eyes locked, what was that? Was he looking?

You simply ignored it as you knew you would only ever stay as enemies with him. You then grab your purse and head towards the door with your parents. You turn around to say goodbye to Draco but he wasn't there, he was already gone but you had one last idea on how to get on his nerves.
"See you around draco" you shout into the big dark house, your voice echo's and knowing it would leave draco mad for a while.

You then smile and say goodbye to Lucius and narcissa and head out the door. The night was cold and quiet but the wind made the night chilly and scary.

What a night you thought, your mind rushing through the events of everything that happened. You turn around to look at the massive house once more and you spotted him in the window, he was leaning against the wall looking out at you, you could feel his dominance. Your eyes lock and you give him one last smile and you blow him a kiss goodbye. He clenches his jaw with fury and frustration. He then turns away from the window and walks off into the darkness of his room.

The next morning you woke up back in Hogwarts but it felt like you were in draco's room, because the Slytherin rooms were as cold as his draco's room, and the bed sheets were a similar colour of green.

You get yourself ready and put on your robes and head down to the great hall for breakfast. As you were walking with Pansy down to breakfast you both had to walk through the common room where you knew Draco would be.

You enter the room and your eyes instantly spotted him, he was laying on the black leather couch with his feet on table, and his minions circling him. You walk past with confidence acting if nothing happened last night. As you walked past him your eyes connected with his, and time slowed down for a moment, he gave you snarky look and then turns back to his minions and continued talking.

As you and Pansy were walking through the hallways of Hogwarts you look outside and you could see the warm sun slowly rising over the mountains in the distance and the small birds chirping away and chasing each other, it made you feel at home, it made you feel warm.

You and Pansy made you way to the great hall and you both sit down on the Slytherin table and start eating your breakfast. As you were eating you eat screeches from an owl, you weren't expecting anything as the mail has already come this week but then you look up and notice it was your owl, he flew in and dropped a note right at your lap.

You pull open the green tie and open the letter,

"Goodmorning daughter,

Hope your having a splendid time back but unfortunately something bad has happened which is causing us to move away for 6 months.

No questions! Pack your bags and you will be leaving hogwarts tonight"

Your heart sunk, you didn't want to leave. You finally found peace, well without Draco you found peace but hogwarts was starting to feel like home, a place you enjoyed. You had made a few really good friends through out your classes, but you knew to never mess with your parents and they had made the final decision. I guess I'll see everyone in 6 months.

You made your way out of the great hall and walking to your classes, you felt down and a bit less energetic as you didn't want to leave and you especially didn't want anyone knowing you were leaving so early. Only Pansy knew. But it was time for potions with Snape.

You open the door and everyone's eyes were on you again, you were late. You pause at the door and then start making your way over to Pansy,
"If you weren't late y/n you'd know that we're working with our partners again" Snape says turning around from writing on the chalk board "go sit over with draco" you roll your eyes and you make your way over to Draco.

You could feel his deep stare on you as you walk towards him, you finally sit down next to him and you ignore him.
"soo..." Draco says turning his body towards you, his leg lightly touching yours, you then turn to him "what?" You say sharply. Silence filled the room, "a lil birdy told me your leaving for 6 months" he says looking around laughing with the class, you then look over at Pansy, knowing she was the only one that knew about it, she avoided eye contact, you then whisper to Draco "oh yeah and who told you that?" Draco pauses and places one of his hand on your back and the other one pointing towards Pansy, he then leans in towards your ear "everyone knows" he whispers.

You were mad, mad at Pansy, mad at basically everything. The way you were feeling made you go quiet for the rest of the class. Snape then dismissed everyone and you sat there for a bit while everyone else was rushing off, you were off in a dream, Draco then stands up and he places his cold hands on your shoulders from behind, you could feel his cold rings trace your skin, he then leans forward towards your ear,

"I'm glad your leaving, you shouldn't come back to hogwarts, you never belonged here" He whispers in your ear.

His words shocked you, it was harsh, tears started forming and Draco grabbed his things and left to leave the room but as he was leaving he stood at the door for a second, and he looked like he felt bad, like he wish he didn't say that but he knew he had to. But he then rushes out the door before you could see him. You swore you saw him standing there but you forget it as you were so hurt by him

I wonder what it's going to be like when you get back to hogwarts?
Will anything change?
Will anything change between you and draco?
