17 - astronomy tower

As you sat there, with the continuous gaze from Draco and Cedric on you, watching your every movement, watching your every mouthful, Draco's gaze was demanding and powerful, making your heartbeat increase every time your eyes met, Cedric's gaze, on the other hand, was soft and warm, his brown eyes made you melt, it made you feel home.

aside from their glares making you nervous, your thoughts were covered by how you have two incredibly handsome boys that want your attention and have their eyes set on you all the time.

you slowly finish your dinner and eat the last crumbs left on your plate and you sit there patiently waiting for more students to finish so you can leave with everyone else. You sat there with your legs crossed and your cutlery on your plate, waiting for them to disappear by a snap of the fingers by Dumbledore, you were off in a dream when you felt a cold hand touch your bare skin on your neck, you immediately try and figure out who it may be, until you could smell their strong cologne fill your senses, it was a strong smell of peppermint and a light hint of apples, his silver rings touching the back of your neck, making your body fill with goosebumps, he then nudges the person sitting next to you with his other hand making them fall over the seat, making room for him to sit down.

he sits down next to you very slowly, he removes his hand that was on your neck and places it on your thigh, he moves his hand up slowly, his thumb rubbing lightly across your skin on your thigh, your cheeks turning rosy, you were flustered by his touch, but you didn't like it, you didn't like showing he had an effect on you, he was Draco, he's a dick.

with his body sitting so close to yours you look down at your thigh as Draco's hands were caressing your skin, you see he has a note, his eyebrow raised, meaning for me to read it.

I grab the note from his hand, I unravel it which revealed,

"meet me at the top of the astronomy tower tonight,

8 pm sharp"

the note was handwritten by Draco, it was perfectly neat but messy at the same time, butterflies formed in your stomach as you didn't know what to expect, you cant tell if he was going to embarrass you or if were finishing what happened on the train,

with his one hand still on your thigh, he leans forward towards your ear, you feel his warm breath against your cold neck, "don't be late" he whispers aggressively as his grip tightens on your thigh as he says the word late, he then smiles with aggression and then sits up and leaves the great hall,

you take a deep breath, calming your nerves and heartbeat, you look up to check if anyone noticed you and draco's little event, but everyone was leaving or still talking with their friends.

that was too close.

You stand up and make yourself presentable, brushing off your robes and you walk out of the great hall and towards your room.

You make it into your room and you get ready for tonight, you apply some red lipstick, straightened your hair, and put on a nice outfit.

You looked hot.

You leave your room and make your way through the dark Slytherin common room, trying to be quiet, tip toeing around, making no sound.

The night was still and cold. Chilling to say the least.

You reach the bottom of the stairs leading up to the astronomy tower, you take a deep breath and walk up. The wind was blowing in your hair as you kept getting higher and higher until you reach the top,

You turn the corner and see him, the tall blonde boy wearing his all back suit standing at the edge, his back facing you, and his hands holding onto the rails looking out on the dark lake, you weren't quite sure what to say,

"Drac-" you say but before you could finish saying his name, he cuts you off, "your late" his cold harsh tone sends shivers down your spine, he slowly turns around and his ice cold silver eyes darted at you,

He looked you up and down, and raises in eyebrow, liking the view it looked like, he looked like he was speechless, you were surprised he was acting like this, so you weren't sure if he was liking the view or making fun of you.

He then slowly walks towards you, his shoes tapping on the ground with each step, he then reaches you, and he placed his hands on your shoulders and slowly pushing you backwards while keeping eye contact, your back then hits the wall, not letting you go anywhere,

"What did I say about being late?" He whispers in your ear, you could feel his warm breath against your neck, "I um..." you try and make a sentence out but Draco quickly places his index finger on your lips, "shhh" his raspy voice says as his eyes look dead into yours, his fingers lightly tracing your skin, going up and down your curves.

"Is this guy bothering you?" A deep voice speaks from the shadows by the stairs, you and Draco stay silent, trying to see who the mystery voice belongs to, you look down towards the floor and the man takes a couple steps forward,

It was Cedric.

You felt embarrassed, as you were in between Draco's arm, you look at Draco, his eyes beaming at you, he clenched his jaw, his hands turn to fists leaning against the wall, "you know I'm getting really tired of you interrupting us" he says turning around to face Cedric, his jaw still clenched, "maybe because I actually care for y/n, I don't think she should trust a guy like yourself" Cedric says while looking at you,

You could see cedric really did care for you, you look over at Draco and he was rolling up his sleeves, revealing his toned arms, "oh yeah is that so?" He asks sarcastically with a sly smirk, you could feel the tension in the room,

Cedric nods his head to what Draco said, Draco tightens his fist with anger and rushes over to Cedric and throws a punch, it hits Cedric in the nose, his nose bleeding rapidly, Cedric wiped his face and took a deep breath as he looked at Draco,
"You know we don't have to do this malfoy" Cedric says calmly but demandingly, Draco didn't turn down, "leave y/n and I alone and we won't have to"Draco snaps back,

Cedric laughs under his breath, "I won't allow that" Cedric throws and unexpected punch at Draco, hitting him in his eye, his eyes slowly turning blue and purple already, and starting to bleed a little bit.

"Guys stop... please" you yell, you go over to them, they were still trying to fight, you were trying to pull Draco back, he then turns to you and picks you up, his hands on your waist, it felt like he could easily pick you up, he then places you down near the wall

"We're fighting for you" he pauses "Don't make this worse" he says while his eyes shoot daggers at you, and he then turns back to Cedric, and continues to punch each other.

"May I ask what is the cause of this?" Snape says slowly, walking towards Cedric and Draco, you all stopped, silence filled the room, leaving the sound of the wind bristle through the trees,

"Detention." Snape pauses and looks over at you, "for all three of you" He continues, you look down at the ground in embarrassment, "now back to your rooms before you get in any more trouble" and Snape slowly leaves the astronomy tower.

You, Draco and Cedric stood there for a couple seconds in silence and shock, everyone out of breath, Draco and Cedric both had blood all over their faces as well as cuts and bruises.

A detention with the three of you?
That's not going to go well.
