Chapter 12

Mika's POV
It's been about two days since the attack from the League of Villians. Thankfully Bakugo's injuries have been healed and he is able to train again. And since he doesn't have to to go to school for a well that gives him more free time.

Though I still have to do my workbooks it feels nice having him around more. I'm not sure why I get this reassurance when I'm around him. He's also made me feel happier. I've stopped listening to sad music, and isn't as desperate as I was to find my soulmate anymore.

The normal life I've always wanted has finally come true. Thought it does have some difference than from what I've dreamed of. But it's not like everything in life is gonna turn out perfect. "Mika come down stairs would ya" yelled Bakugo.

I go down stairs and ask him what he needed. "The old hag told the both of us to go get some groceries for her." "Ok...just give me a few minutes and I'll be right down." I say while going back into my room to change. After I found something I liked I put it on and went back downstairs.

To no surprise Bakugo was standing there waiting for me. "Took you long enough" he grumbled finally noticing me. I roll my eyes and take the groceries list from him. Great I thought I know what most of these thing are so this'll be an easy job.

"Let's go" I say while walking out the door and he trailed behind me. We finally reached the store and entered. I check back the list the first thing on it was fish. Okay fish...fish...fish aha there it is I thought as I was now in the seafood isle. Mhm....might as well get some shrimp too I thought as I placed it in the basket Bakugo took.

"Mika hurry this shit up I don't got all day." He groaned. "Bakugo we've only been here for less than 5 minutes and you're already complaining. Well don't worry cause we only have a few more things left. You know what... here"

I carefully rip the list and give one half to myself and to him the other. "To make this faster we'll split and find the groceries on our list." Before he could even respond I already started heading to get my next item.

While I was getting them I started to feel like I was being followed. But every time I looked around no one was there. "What the hell" I muttered. I tried to ignore it and distract myself but no matter what I did the feeling still lingered on me.

I take out my phone a texted Bakugo to quickly come to the Isle I was in. As soon as I put my phone away this random man came up to me. "Hey Beautiful you think I can get your number." He asked. Usually I would judge a person by their appearance but I couldn't help but do it.

This man was a middle aged man who looked like he was in his forties. Not to mentioned he was dressed in rags. "No thank you" I say. "I'm not a gold digger" I then turn away trying to get away from him but he grabs my arm. "Come on I know you want to, we can have some fun." He smirks.

Ok now I was mad, and when I'm mad it's not pretty. Just ask the kid who said women can't fight, and he'll tell you all about it. Oh wait...you can't cause I broke his jaw and might have shattered it. "GET OFF OF ME" I yell and push him on the ground. Then I start to beat the shit out of the guy.

I felt someone pull me away and look to see Bakugo. "What the fuck are you doing" I tried to get out of his grip to give the guy a piece of my mind but I could so I just gave up. Supposedly I was so loud that the workers called the police to make sure everything was okay.

Luckily I didn't have any charges pressed against me since it was self-defense, but I can't say the same about him. Apparently he has done this to many women before so he was sentenced to serious amounts of jail time.

I look at Bakugo and say, "Hey I'm sorry you had to stop me from fighting that gu-" "Are you kidding me" he interrupts. "You think I actually wanted to stop you. I wanted to see you beat that bastard to hell, but if UA found out I didn't stop it they might not let me become a hero.

"Plus we would want the future Pro Hero: Ground Zero not happen now would we." I giggle and nudge his shoulder. "No we certainly wouldn't want that. Now let's finish this and get back home."

Time Skip: After they finished

After we payed for everything Bakugo took all the groceries even though I told him I could take some he refused. Then we started walking back home. While we were walking I could help but take a few glances at him from time to time.

You know now that I realize it Bakugo does look really handsome. I mean I noticed this trait before but he looks more attractive to me now that before. You're just going delusional Mika. He's the same Bakugo you've always know, and that won't ever change.

I slap my face to get myself to get that thought out of my head, but then...why am I still thinking about it. "Mika what are you doing" *Sweat drop* "Oh sorry...there was a fly on my face so I killed it." I say nervously. Hopefully he bought that I thought.

"Umm.... okay weirdo" he muttered. "And also don't apologize for something like that. People will think you're weak and then they'll get the upper hand on you so you won't be able to defeats them." He looked evenly at the the end of it which scared me.

Seriously does this guy only think about fighting people. I sigh and decide to walk faster to get back home. Which lead to Bakugo yelling at me but I just kept walking.
