~Payton
It has been a week since Jacob called me last and I'm so happy. Me and Tory have been having so much fun with the guys. Yesterday we went surfing and it was hilarious. Me and Tory were horrible and could barely even stand up on the board. Not that the guys were any better. We're all sitting in the living room and playing around and just having a his time. "I want cookies!" I whine while laying on Jamie's lap. Everyone laughs before anyone speaks. "Jamie here ate ask the cookies we had." Tony said. I pout and let out and aggravated sigh. "Well I think someone should go get some. Payton doesn't play around when it comes to cookies." Tory warned them. "I'll go. Pay, you wanna come with me?" Vic said as he stood up from beside Mike on the other couch. I looked up at him and nodded before getting up and running upstairs to get my shoes. After saying bye for now to the rest of the guys and Tory, Vic and I got into his car and were off to get cookies. "So Pay, has that douche still been calling and texting you?" Vic asked as he drove his eyes still fixed on the road. "No he hasn't. Thank goodness." I say getting sad as what Jacob said to me replayed itself over and over in my head. Tears began to spill down my cheeks. Although I don't love him anymore, what he said still rips my heart apart. I feel a hand on mine and look down to see Vic has interlocked our hands. I smile at our interlocked fingers and then at him. "Don't cry over him, Pay. He's a jerk and you deserve so much better than him. And I promise you that you don't have to worry about him hurting you. I'll protect you no matter what." He says looking at me. I smile and then realize that we are sitting in the parking lot of the grocery store. We get out of the car and go inside finding the cookies. "Get whatever you want. I'll buy it." Vic says when we find the cookies. "Oh no, you don't have to buy them for me. Thank you though." I tell him. He kept insisting and I soon caved and let him pay for the cookies. When we get back to the house we return to the group and I begin eating my cookies. "So how long are you guys staying in San Diego?" Tony asks me and Tory. "Well we want to stay longer but all of our clothes and stuff are back home." Tory explains and I nod in agreement. "So when are you guys planning on leaving?" Vic asks. "Tomorrow maybe." I answer his question. Sadness becomes apparent on his face and he looks down at the floor. "We're gonna miss you guys." Jamie says with a sad expression. "Or we can take you to get the rest of your things and you guys can come back and move in with us." Vic suggests waiting for a response. "Ehhh I don't know. How would tha-" I say but Vic cuts me off. "Do you really wanna be back where that asshole can find you and I can't protect you like I promised?" Vic says. Its completely silent. He does have a point. "Okay, we'll move in, if that's what you guys really want." I say looking at all the guys. They all nod and smile at me and that was it. We've been here just about three months and we definitely want to stay.
