Soyeong opened her eyes, and was greeted with a view of the beach. It was a dark and cold night, yet she could still see the ocean waves. Without much thinking, Soyeong got up and walked to the shore. She watched as the water barely touched her feet, before it retreated back into the ocean.
Then Soyeong slowly started to walk into the water without a single thought in her mind. She closed her eyes, and felt the soft breeze tickling agents her skin, the cold water surrounding her, and listened to the sound of the wind. The wind was singing a song to her, putting her into a trance with no control of her mind or body.
The next thing Soyeong knew she was under water, and struggling to reach the top. She felt something holding her down and dragging her deeper. Air bubbles and the dark blue water surrounded her, making her blind to whatever was trying drown her.
Soyeong felt a presence with her, making her scared. She felt it trying to grab onto her, she felt it circling around her, she felt it's skin on her own. Suddenly everything went black and Soyeong's body was deadly cold.
Soyeong couldn't see anything still, but she felt her body and how cold it was, she also felt the pressure being used on her chest. A lump formed in her throat, and her lungs burned before she finally released a painful cough. With blurry vision, Soyeong looked to her right just to see a blurry figure, but this time Soyeong could slightly make out who it was.
Soyeong wanted to reach out to the person, she wanted to call out to him, but she couldn't. Soyeong was numb, and felt paralyzed as she laid against the sand. Her eyes were too heavy to continue, making them shut then open again in a different scenery.
Soyeong laid up and looked around her room. She hugged her blanket closer to her as she felt cold and lonely, the dream still clear in her mind. She's only had snippets of the dream, but tonight she had the full vision. The girl got up and looked out her window, it was dark, but just like in her dream, she was still able to see the ocean. It was still storming outside, and it seemed as it's gotten worse since the rain was harder and the ocean waves were stronger.
Soyeong soon laid back in bed and pulled her blanket over her. She closed her eyes in attempt to fall asleep again, but instead a tear slipped as she felt a small sharp pain in her heart.
