Chapter 1: A Korok's Leaf

It has been one hundred years since the final defeat of Calamity Ganon, central Hyrule had suffered immensely in scale of destruction. With the aid of all races, creeds, and guilds around the land, Hyrule had become twice the kingdom it was during the events of the calamity. It had bounced back and commerce, trade, and cooperation from people of all different backgrounds.

The Rito had aided the Hylians in woodworking, rebuilding towns that lied in ruin after the great calamity. The Gerudo encouraged trade and commerce between all areas of Hyrule, Hylians included. The Gorons helped craft weapons and armor for the new recruits of royal guards and citizens alike. Even though the calamity was gone, monsters continued to roam the land yet there was no force resurrecting them. The Gorons made sure each village had a means of defending themselves, should the need arise. The Zora provided food and nourishment due to constant shortages of Hylian food supply. They also encouraged fishing and taught the Hylians the way of the spear.

The Zora were an aquatic race of Lanayru, whose long lives surpass that of nearly all other races in Hyrule. King Dorephan, the monarch of the Zora, was beginning to grow older, he felt his reign coming to an end as he grew older and soon his son, Prince Sidon, would assume the role as King of Zora's Domain. Princess Mipha relinquished the throne following her marriage with the Hylian with the sword that seals the darkness, Link. They had three children, two twin daughters Tela and Viola, and a son named Sola.

Tela and Viola were Zora who both had pinkish skin and looked almost identical with the only difference in the two being their eye color. Tela's eye color was gold like her mother's and Viola's was a deep blue like her father's. They were both the age of young Zora so about 30 years old, they were still short and did not have the features of an adult Zora yet. Their brother, however, was older and had the appearance of a ten year old Hylian, yet donned a crimson red mop of hair and ocean blue eyes like his sister. He was also blessed with the gift of long life and the ability to breathe underwater but he lacked basic features more common in Zoras such as fins. He, too, hadn't had his growth spurt yet so he remained short but still taller than his sisters.

It was early evening, at about 5pm, when Mipha and her three children went to Marot's Mart to grab the daily catch of fresh fish available. Mipha walked in and was greeted by an excited Marot who absolutely loves company. She was also a red skinned Zora with kind eyes and a welcoming demeanour.

"We have some chillfin trout, Hyrule Bass, and bright eyed crab for our catch of the day!" She beamed. "It's not everyday we get this hearty crab so be sure to grab it before it goes."

Mipha stood at about the same height as Marot, when she walked in her golden eyes were captivated by the beautiful white crabs that lie in the ice box. Excitement span around her stomach at the delightful thought of having the crabs for dinner. The red Zora princess turned around to see her children's faces, both filled with the same excitement. Mipha turned back towards Marot "I'll take two dozen."

"Okay, Princess! Do you want them cooked here?" Marot began grabbing the live crabs and putting them into a portable ice box.

Mipha shook her head and smiled brightly, "That's fine, we're gonna have sashimi tonight."

Marot finished packing the crabs into the ice box. "It's on the house." She smiled

"Oh no I couldn't do that!!" Mipha shook her hands as to signal no. " I'm taking a quarter of your stock! Please, how much is everything? Don't give me a royal discount for this!"

Marot scratched her cheek in bashfulness. "Princess-

"I insist." Mipha pulled out her large rupee purse, which was decorated in Zora symbols and had a silver chain keeping it closed. Marot sighed in defeat. "It's two hundred and fifty rupees.." she replied, still bashful about the scenario. Marot accepted the payment of five purple rupees.
