TW: BLOOD, GUNS (Lmk if there's smth here that I should have put a tw on)

Three days later....
We sat in a circle in the middle of a field by the train tracks. Bill's aunt was leaving the next day, and I was going with her. We were all listening to Bev.

"Do you guys remember how I got caught in the deadlights last year?" she said.

We all nodded.

"While I was in there, I saw something. I don't know why, but I couldn't remember what it was that I saw. At least, until we defeated Pennywise. It was like its defeat unlocked a memory that I didn't know I had. Except it wasn't really a memory. More of a vision."

"What did you see?" asked Ben.

"I saw all of us. Back in the cistern. But we were older. We were our parents' ages."

"Am I still handsome as an adult?" asked Richie, resting his chin in his hands and flashing an exaggerated grin.

Bev smiled. "You grow into your looks."

"What the fuck does that mean?" said Richie.

We all laughed.

"What about me?" asked Stan.

Bev looked down. "Like now... But taller."

Stan grinned. Bill picked up a shard of glass from the ground.

"S-sw-swear. If It isn't dead. I-if it ever comes back. We'll come back too."

A blood oath. The rest of the Losers and I all stood up. Bill went around to each of the Losers and made a cut in the palm of their left hand.

"Um, you know there are a lot of safety hazards with cutting our hands with a shard of dirty glass from the ground, right?" said Eddie, who had pulled his hand away when Bill got to him, "The same piece of glass for each of our hands, for that matter. There's no telling how much bacteria and—"

"Eds," Richie whispered, "Can you not be a clean freak for like two minutes?"

Eddie looked at Richie, then sighed and rolled his eyes. "Ok, fine."

He outstretched his hand towards Bill and let him cut his palm.

When Bill got to me, he hesitated slightly. We made eye contact and I nodded. He cut my hand, but I barely flinched. He made a cut in his own hand, then we all joined hands with each other. Bill at my left, Bev at my right, Ben next to Bev, Stan next to Ben, Mike next to Stan, Eddie next to Mike, Richie next to Eddie, and Bill on the other side of Richie. After about a minute, we broke apart.

"I gotta go," said Stan. He looked at Bill. "I hate you."

Bill furrowed his brow, but then Stan grinned. We all laughed at his joke. Once Stan had left, Eddie spoke up.

"I have to go too," he said, "My mom's probably looking for me."

He hugged Richie then walked away. Eventually, all the Losers left, except for me and Bill.

"Y-you all packed up for Minnesota?" he asked.

I nodded. "I'm leaving with your aunt tomorrow morning. Maybe I'll be able to have a somewhat normal life."

"I'm gonna m-miss you."

I nodded. "Me too. But we don't have to talk about this now. We have almost a day left. We'll worry about goodbye when it's actually time to say goodbye." I stood up and offered my hand to Bill. "Come on. Your aunt probably wants us home for lunch soon."
