Chapter 1: Running Late

It was a beautiful morning in early September, the sun was starting to peak from the horizon and you could hear the birds chirping. Everything seemed calm and peaceful, until a loud wail could be heard from a small, open window.

Levi's POV:

I heard a dreadful sound come from my alarm clock, initiating that it was time for me to wake up. I slowly turned my head to look at the time, only to see that I was late for school.

Shoot!

I'm late for my first day of senior year.

I leaped out of bed and ran to the washroom. I quickly got ready and threw a baggy t-shirt and some sweatpants on.

I looked at myself in the mirror before leaving

"Perfect."

I then ran out the door, and off to school.

TIME SKIP: Arrived at school

I burst open the door to my school and everyone stared. This wasn't unusual though, I had always been a high school reject that no one wanted to talk to.

I began to ponder

How come people don't like me?

It was stupid to ask that because I knew the answer. The only people who are popular are the athletes. All the football players and cheerleaders are worshiped at this school, especially Alvin.

Alvin was the top student in my grade, he was smart, talented, and rich. The girls wanted to be with him and the guys wanted to be him. He is so amazing, and also my worst enemy.

Since we were young me and Alvin have never gotten along. We went to the same middle school together and would always be at each other's throats.

In 7th grade, I liked a girl named Emily, she was nice and cute. When Alvin found out that I liked her, he told her that I had a foot fungus and she stopped talking to me. I never understood why Alvin hated me so much.

Since middle school, I have pledged to never let Alvin win against me. This year I will prove to everyone that I am not an outcast, I am Levi Ackerman, and I am going to be better than Alvin.
