Chapter 3: A Friend Or Foe?

Alvin's POV:

I saw Levi rush out the door. I felt kind of bad for him, Simon should've just kept his mouth shut.

"What was that?" I say, looking into Simons cold brown eyes.

"What?" he said with a grin, "It was pretty funny! Levi ran out like a wuss!"

He laughed and Theodore chimed in,

"You embarrassed him so much!" he said, laughing with Simon.

I couldn't believe they were being so rude. I brushed past them and went to the hallway, looking for Levi.

"I should probably apologize for Simon's behaviour" I thought aloud.

I looked for Levi, but I couldn't seem to find him. Suddenly I heard a sniffle come from a nearby classroom.

Through the door, I could see Levi sitting on the floor, only slightly crying. When he noticed me, he quickly wiped his tears and turned away from me.

I had never seen Levi this vulnerable before, yeah he wasn't talkative or bold, but I never thought of him as the type to cry or be emotional over something like this.

I always thought of him to be quiet and content, but maybe he isn't. I guess I don't really know him as well as I thought I did.

Levi's POV:

I quickly wiped away my tears. I could see Alvin standing in the hallway, I bet he is here to make fun of me just like Simon and Theodore did.

What did I do to deserve this?

Simon doesn't have anything against me, does he? No, he couldn't, we never talk to each other.

I looked up to see Alvin coming toward me. To my surprise, he sat right beside me, to the point where our arms were brushing against each other.

He then began to speak,

"Sorry for Simons behaviour, I don't know why he said all that stuff."

Alvin didn't seem to be lying when he said all of this, but then again I didn't trust him at all.

After I didn't answer, he began to stand up and walked toward the hallway. Before he left he slightly turned back to me and said

"See ya Levi."

and made his way out the door.

After Alvin left, the warmth on my arm had almost completely vanished. Somehow, the feeling of Alvin beside me was actually quite comforting and it almost made me long for his presence again.
