Today's the day. Jun sighed as he woke up. He took his time to get out of bed. He got up from under the covers but he stopped just as he was about to get up and stared into space. He pulled out his phone to text Minghao.
Jun sighed again. Today's the day life returns to complete hell.
He finally managed to get out of his bed and into the shower. After his shower, he sat on his bed once more, staring off into space. He walked to the door, hesitant to open it, to go out of his room. Then all of a sudden, the door swung open and through it came Xin Bei, Jun's little sister. "Junnie! Junnie! Mommy's coming home today!" she exclaimed as she jumped around.
Jun bent down and ruffled her hair. How cute. He smiled at his sister. "How about you go help prepare for her arrival," he said, "I'll be there in a bit." "Okay!" his sister skipped out of the room, closing the door behind her. Jun sat back down on his bed and sighed. I remember when I was like that, happy to see mom, to be around her. He sighed again before finally heading out of his room.
He walked down the stairs, his older brother, Kun, was waiting for him. "Dad wants to talk to you," he said as he followed behind Jun. "Tell him he's gonna have to wait," Jun replied with an attitude before walking off.
"What the hell are you doing?" Jun asked as he walked into his uncle's workshop. Jiacheng sighed, "It's a portrait of your mother. Your dad had me working on it all week, I'm adding the finishing touches." "Why am I not fucking surprised," Jun scoffed, "All he knows how to do is kiss up to her." "You know, if you knew why he acted that way with her, you wouldn't be so disgusted by it," his uncle explained. "If you say love I swear-" Jun stated. "No it's something more important to your dad," his uncle answered. "Money?" Jun questioned. "How about you ask your dad the reason," Jiacheng said as he pushed his nephew out f the room, "Whether I like it or not, I have to finish this painting. And Lin Lin's with Sue if you wanted to see her." With those words, the uncle shut the door and Jun sighed in frustration.
"Jun," his father said in a somber tone, "A word." "What?" Jun asked with an attitude, "I'd like to enjoy the free time I have left so be quick, would ya." "Don't go and visit that boy today," his father stated. "Wasn't planning on it," Jun replied, "I don't need more time added onto my sentence. And that boy's name is Minghao," he rolled his eyes. "Stop talking like you're getting put on trial," his dad ordered, "And please, don't disrespect your mother." "I basically am getting put on trial when she comes," Jun sighed, "And don't worry I won't talk shit to her. Can I go now?" "Watch your mouth in front of me boy," his dad demanded. Jun scoffed and walked off.
