"hey, i don't know if you've heard but allison is making me take lydia to the dance"I spoke to stiles as I put a bag in the trunk, he'd called me on the ride to the formal.

"I know, I told her to"I told him, smiling and closing the truck before leaning against my car.

"You did?"he asked and I nodded, smiling.

"Yeah, I have something I need to do tonight"I said, glancing back at my car.

"What's that? Maybe I can help you"he said and I shook my head.

"I have help, don't worry"I told him and he nodded, glancing over at lydia as they started to enter the gym.

"Be careful hunter, it's a full moon"he said and I nodded.

"I'm always careful, you have fun"I said before hanging up and getting into the drivers seat.

"Are you sure you want to do this? I'm pretty sure this is breaking the code"peter asked and I rolled my eyes, starting the car and pulling off as I head to my house.

"Do you want my mother to kill your nephew and Scott? Then you?"I asked him and he didn't respond.

"There's no room for second guessing, it all ends tonight"I told him, glancing at him.

I entered the house hearing glass break , it must be uncle chris.

"Feeling better?"I heard my mother ask , she was sitting on the couch when I entered.

"Don't push me, Kate!"Chris shouted at her.

"I thought it was a pretty healthy display of aggression, actually."she said and I rolled my eyes.

"You told her."he accused her.

"She found out."my mother lied, I moved past them to grab a broom from the kitchen.

"Don't think I don't know about the clues that you've been leaving, starting with that necklace. She knows because you wanted her to."Chris saw right through her lies.

"Because she needs to."my mom retorted and I scoffed, walking back into the room.

"Yeah right, heard that before"I commented and she gave me a look.

"Hunter-"Chris cut her off.

"Why are you back here? You hate this town. I had a network of names I could've called a lot closer than you. But you called first."Chris said and I nodded, sweeping all of the glass into a pile.

"So now you don't want my help?"she asked him and Chris glanced at me.

"I'm not sure I know who you're helping."he said and I raised my hand.

"I second that"I said.

"Oh, come on. I'm here to catch the Alpha. Remember the one running around here, killing people at random?"she said, trying to make him see that she wasn't the enemy here.

"Not random."Chris said, bending down and picking up all the big pieces of glass.

"What?"my mom asked, taken back.

"Tyhurst said that Sheriff Stilinski can connect every murder back to the Hale fire."he said and of course she used this to her advantage.

"Well, then that's even more reason for her to know, 'cause they've always blamed us for that fire. It had to have been Derek and some other relative. But I guarantee they're circling around to us as their last targets."

"That's not your call to make"I told her, shaking my head.

"Elizabeth, I've been quiet and I've taken a lot of disrespectful comments from you but I don't know if you need to be reminded that I'm the parent here-"Chris cut her off and I clenched my jaw.

"you're taking Allison and hunter out of here tonight. You're gonna drive her to the house in Washington, and you will stay there until I call."I looked at him, absolutely not.

"Are you kidding me? You're gonna bench your star player in the last quarter?"my mother said, she wouldn't stand for it.

"Get your things. I want the three of you on the road within the hour."he said and I shook my head.

"I'm not going, absolutely not. I refuse to leave stiles here while there's an alpha on the lose"I told him, folding my arms.

"That's not your choice to make, you've been acting out ever since you met this kid"my mother told me and I looked at her.

"His name is stiles and That's funny coming from you mom, you've done nothing but force this on allison since you got here"I said and she walked over to me.

"She needed to know"she still stuck with that same excuse.

"She's a kid"I said told her.

"And you aren't?"she retorted and I shook my head.

"Unlike her, I didn't have a choice. You made that choice for me the day I was born-"I was cut off with a slap to the face.

"Kate-"she cuts Chris off.

"Don't ever disrespect me again"she warned me and I ripped off the necklace she gave me on my first hunt, the argent pendant. I threw it on the floor and stormed out of the room and out of the front door, with her hot on my tail.

"Hunter!"I got in my car and drove off before she could stop me, that was all the motivation I needed to go through with my plan.

It ends tonight.
