"Hey,I missed you in class this morning" I heard stiles say once I grabbed my books from my locker.

" I had a surprise meeting with my family, don't worry I'll live"I said, shaking my head.

"Enough about me but what have you been up to? How did it go with Scott?"I asked him as I rub his arm.

"I'm teaching him how to control his shifting"he said, I laughed softly.

"Well I'm definitely coming"I told him, he takes my books from me.

" You don't have to"he said, I looked at him.

"If you think I'm going to let you go around an out of control wolf then think again"I said , walking along with him.

"He's not out of control"he tells me.

"Well I'm not letting you go near a werewolf in training then and don't say he won't hurt you"i said.

"Look , if something happens to you and I'm not there then I will never forgive myself"I said , turning to him and looking down not able to meet his eyes.He grabs my hands, slowly intertwining our fingers.

"You won't lose me okay? Don't think like that"he said, smiling softly.

(Time skip)

I walked into class with stiles, seeing Scott raise his eyebrows at us. I gave him my middle finger and sat behind stiles. Allison sat behind Scott, dear God this won't be good.

"When did this happen?"Scott asked curiously.

"Uh-"I covered up for stiles.

"It's complicated"I said, smiling softly.

"Yes, complicated"stiles agreed with me.

"Let's settle down."thank God for coach.

Later that day i went home,only to see my mother sitting on my bed. I sighed and pulled off my jacket.

"What do you want?"I asked,walking past her.

"Oh nothing, just wondering when my own daughter was going to tell me that scott knows Derek"she said, I scoffed turning around to look at her.

"You're an adult remember? I don't owe you anything"i said, shrugging my shoulders.

"What happened to you? Is it because of that boy? Stiles?"she asked me, it was partially because of him.

"It's because i finally feel free to be myself, i don't have to be hard as Stone all the time"I told her, she stands up.

"I did what I had to do to protect you"she said, I laughed.

"From what? My dad? You didn't think i was going to find out why you actually decided to bring me here?"i told her.

"Hunter calm down"Chris said, i grabbed my things again.

"Don't tell me to calm down, i dedicated 11 years of my life to this business and every time i find just a piece of happiness you strike it down like it's some kind of disease"I tell her, she looks down ashamed.

"Hunter-"i cut Victoria off.

"I wont let you do it again mom, stay away from stiles and Scott or you'll really see me get angry"i said before i pushed passed Chris and Victoria. I then began to walk all the way to stiles house.
