Excuse ANY MISTAKES

Jordyn

"Well that's all for today ladies. See you guys next Tuesday okay? Have a good one" the captain of Alumni Delta said closing their meeting as Jordyn grabbed her things about to leave as her fellow "sisters" did the same.

Jordyn was quietly grabbing her things. She wasn't in the mood to talk. Baby girl was having a rough day. Jordyn wasn't able to have her daily coffee, she missed her first class of the day by oversleeping, and she had failed her latest exam. The day just wasn't working out in Jordyn's favor. She just wanted to go home and sleep this day off.

"Hey Jordyn," a fellow sorority sister of Jordyn said coming up behind her as Jordyn was putting things in her purse.

Jordyn turned around putting on the biggest smile that was genuine. She was so nice. "Hey!" Jordyn exclaimed pulling her "sister" Megan into a hug.

"Listen, me and the girls are going to a party at the Frat house this weekend you wanna go?" Megan asked as she eyed Jordyn's beauty. Jordyn was rocking a skin tight dress that complimented her hourglass figure perfectly. She had on one of her many hoops that were pretty big and her infamous rings she would always wear. And her long black hair was straight and down. She looks beautiful.

"Wait-..this Saturday?" Jordyn asked licking her lips looking at Megan.

"Yeah. You date one of the boys. Christian right?" Megan said in more of a question but almost if she already knew they were dating. Which they weren't.

"Girl no. That's just a good friend of mine. Me and Christian don't date. But yeah just send me the details and I'll see if I can make it. You know I'm not big on parties" Jordyn said giving Megan a small smile.

"Okay. Yeah sure. But I'll see you later okay? I'll text you" Megan said as Jordyn gave her a nod and a smile before leaving right behind her.

"Your total will be 40.78" Jordyn said nicely giving her customer a big smile as she handed her a card leaving Jordyn to swipe it collecting the money from the card.

Jordyn worked at the popular store Gucci in a outlet a few miles from her home. She didn't really need to work since her parents were well off and gave her an allowance which was enough to pay her rent, her car note, and extra things that any woman would need and want. But, she didn't want to depend on her parents so she got a job so just in case something goes wrong she has her own money to fall back on. Jordyn made good money at the Gucci store making 14 dollars an hour.

Jordyn worked only four days a week to keep up with her grades. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 4-10PM.

She made enough to keep her head above the water plus the money her parents gave her. So she was straight financially. Jordyn had a lot going for herself. "Girl, what chu' doing after work?" Jordyn's co-worker Tasha asked smacking her gum loudly. Today was a slow day for the Gucci store.

Jordyn looked over at Tasha as her long bulky eyelashes blocked half of her eyes. Jordyn knew her sight was somewhat blocked. "Nothing much. I was invited to this damn party this weekend but I ain't really all into that party shit" Jordyn stated leaning back on the counter behind her.

"Mhmmm. You still up at Manhattan College?" Tasha eyes Jordyn as jealousy laced her voice some. Tasha envied Jordyn. Tasha was a high school drop out with a child that she struggled to take care of with a dead beat baby daddy. Tasha didn't have much going for herself. She grew up in a rough neighborhood her mom wasn't in her life as much due to being on drugs and her alcoholic dad used to abuse her.
