When Max and Dixie was done, they made their way up front and got in line together, to check out. While they were doing that, over at the house family and friends had unloaded one trailer, before deciding to unhook the others.

The conroys and the Stewart's, agreed to do that with the help of the others and that way, they could meet up with Max and Dixie. After unhooking them, they all piled into two vehicles and headed back to town.

While they walked to the door, a lady walked up "Welcome to my store, have I seen you before?" She asked them with a smile. When Max and Dixie moved away from the door, noticing she was wearing gray slacks and a pink short sleeve dress shirt.

Heidi green age fifty six years old was grayish brown hair and hazel eyes. She is five foot seven, medium build and sweet.

Heidi gets along with most people. She was born and raised there, Heidi likes what she does and can't wait to retire soon.

"No, we just moved here from California and we bought the house on Apple Lane,"

"Sorry I got to go, I forgot to unload something," already said to them with a straight face, as she scurried off.

"What was that about?" Dixie asked Max was a curious look on her face.

"I'm not sure,"He said back to her with a straight face, while walking out door. When they got to the truck, Max and Dixie started loading it up and notice their parents, friends just pulled up.

"What are you doing here, you supposed to be at the house?" They asked them with a straight face.

"We thought you can use a few more hands," Their parents said to them was a loving voice. Max and Dixie didn't say much more, since it was their family and everyone made their way to Mike's hardware store.

Mike Stanford age forty nine years old with red hair and brown eyes. He is six foot one, skinny and doesn't say much to anyone, he has own this business since his parents died.

When they got there, everyone else went inside and Dixie looked at Max "My love, I'll get the stuff for the inside," She said to him with a smile.

"Okay sweetness, I'll get the other," He said back to her with a wink. While Max and Dixie notice the outside walls was gray with red trim and the door was wooden.

There is a big window on the right of the door and the name was in white lettering, across the window. Max and Dixie stepped inside I hope everyone is not going crazy They thought to themselves, since they both know how their parents are.

When they stepped inside, it was bright yellow with white trim and there was four rows of shelving, down the middle. On the far left wall is a door, that leads to the wood area and left of that, is all kinds of stuff that hung on the wall.

On the right wall, is rocks and shoals that hang on the wall as well as gardening tools. There is a old wooden counter, that's it's towards the back of the room and on the far wall is all the carpet.

Max kiss Dixie, before going on his way and she went the other direction, looking for things. When he went down the rows, Max found the stainer for the floors and picked up fourteen cans, before continuing on.

While he was doing that, Dixie found the paint and picked up twelve cans of white. What other colors do I need She talk to herself with a undecided look on her face and decided to get the same amount of blue, yellow as well as other colors.

After Dixie was done, she went to look at the carpet and Max realize, he forgot to get Siller. While they were trying to get stuff done, everyone else was picking up all kinds of plumbing stuff and rolls of wire.

When she grabbed the carpet she wanted, Dixie headed to the counter and waited for Max, to get there. What she was waiting there, Dixie saw a man walk up and he had on a blue suit with a name badge, that said Mike.

Could that be the owner She thought to herself, while looking over at him. Mike Stanford age fifty three years old with grayish brown hair and brown eyes.

He is five foot five, medium build and a straightforward kind of guide. Mike has owned his own business, for twenty years and loves what he does.

Dixie started to check out, hoping he would show up and a minute later, Max walked up. "Did you find everything?"She asked him with a smile.

"Yes, except the lumber," He said back to her, then gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Okay, go do that and I'll finish here,"Dixie said to Max with a smirk on her face. Max took off out the side door, to get what he needed and Dixie continue to check out his basket as well.

When she was about done, Dixie's mom and dad walked up and let her know, they were paying for it. While the Stewart's was checking some stuff out, did Conroy's walked up with two full baskets.

"Where is Max?" They asked Dixie with a kind voice.

"He went out that door, to get lumber," She said back to them with a sigh. After finding that out, his parents went out to where he was in Dixie stood there waiting.

When everyone was done, they loaded up the vehicle to Max and Dixie noticed, something wasn't right in this little town. While stepping into  their truck, they wondered if they were just seeing things.

There was a little girl with a white dress, crying and blood all over her They thought to themselves with a disturbed look on their face. Max and Dixie started to leave, when they saw her running down the street and she banished in front of the hotel.

After that, they all headed back to the house"do you think, that's what happened at the hotel?" She asked him with a curious look on her face.

"It could be possible,"He said to her with a sigh. While Max was driving, they noticed it was six p.m. and they were halfway home.

When out of the corner of Max's eye, he thought he saw a sixteen-year-old girl on the side of the road, crawling with blood running down her face. She was wearing a white shirt and pink pants, as Max had to stop and new the girl needed help.

When he pulled to the side of the road,"what are you doing?" Dixie asked him with a strange look on her face.

"I saw a sixteen year old girl, crawling on the side of the road and we have to help her,"He said back to her, as Max jumped out of the truck. Max ran back to where he saw her, as he looked around and didn't finder.

It was like she just vanished, like the other girl He thought to himself with a confused look on his face. "It don't make sense," Max said to himself, when are you headed back to the truck.

When he got there, Dixie was looking over at him and wondered what had happened, but decided not to ask. "Let's head home," He said to her with a straight face.

When they got there, everyone helped unload the stuff from the store and decided to wait on doing anything, until morning. They knew nothing was set up, so everyone laid on mattresses and box springs, as they fell fast asleep.

While everyone was sleeping soundly, Dixie was startled when she opened her eyes and saw the lights flickering.

Am I just dreaming that She thought to herself, knowing they couldn't be on until tomorrow and decided to get a bottle of water out of the ice chest, that was next to her.

After grabbing that, Dixie took a drink out of it and lay down, while setting it down next to her. When Max woke up,"Did you see that?" He asked her was a weird look on his face.

"What do you mean?" She asked him, knowing what he was probably thinking.

"The lights are flickering," Max said back to Dixie with a frustrated look on his face.

"Yes I know, because it happened to me a few minutes ago,"She told him, wondering if the electric was on.

When the lights had stopped again and they went back to sleep for a while, thinking it was just electrical. After hours went by, Max and Dixie woke up and noticed everyone was still asleep, as they decided to go get coffee.
