"Yes my love, I'm getting a drink of water," Dixie said to Max, while giving him a kiss over the phone."Okay, I'll be home soon," he said back to her with a low voice. They both said I love you, to one another and hung up, as she finished her water.
While she was doing that, Max arrived at the police station and notice the building was gray with white trim. There is grass on each side of the walkway with a big wooden sign on the left side and a window, on each side of the glass doors.
Max was walking up to the door, when an officer came out and walked up to him. "Can I help you?" He asked him with a straight face, as Max didn't know what he should do.
I've never had a cop, come out and ask me that in public Max thought to himself with a uneasy feeling about it. When he decided to talk to him, since Max just wanted to get back to his wife.
"Yes, there was a man on our property," Max said to the officer with a stern voice, wondering if he would do anything.
"Okay, do you know who it was or might be?" The officer asked him with a deep voice. Jack Putnam age forty five years old with black hair and hazel eyes.
"No, but he had something in his hand and it looked like a handle, to a hammer or axe," Max said to the officer with a worried look.
"But he walked towards the road," he said to him with a sigh.
"Okay, did you see a vehicle he was driving?" Jack asked him was a curious look on his face.
"No I didn't," Max said back to the officer, wondering what was going through his mind.
"Okay, here is my card and it has my personal number, you can call," Jack said back to him.
"I'll keep a eye out on your place, as much as I can," He said to Max with a kind voice.
"Thank you," Max said to him, while shaking his hand and walked back to the truck. He stepped inside, closing the door behind him and headed back home.
Over at the house, Dixie was watching TV in the living room and heard a voice, in the distance. She turn the volume down, wanting to see if it would happen again and Dixie did hear it a second time.
Dixie got up from the couch, making her way to the front door and look out the window, to find no one there. She stood there thinking, what was going on and why it's happening, to her family.
While she was doing that, Max pulled up to the house and saw his wife, standing by the window with the curtains pulled back. He saw her standing there, looking like she was confused and Max jumped out of the truck, as he made his way inside.
"Are you okay baby?" Matt asked her with a worried look on his face, while walking up to her.
"Yes hun, I am," she said back to him with a straight face, as she put her arms around him. Dixie let him know, she had heard someone talking and came to see who it was, but no one was there.
"Let's go for a walk, you need some fresh air," Max said to his wife with a wink, trying to get her mind off of everything.
"Are you ready, to go for a walk?" He asked Dixie with a smile.
"Yes my love, I'm ready," She said to her husband with a grin.
While they were walking by the well, they heard something startling."Help me...help me," A young girl said out loud.
Max and Dixie looked at each other in dismay, since they didn't know what they were going to do. They decided to pull the well bucket up and hope it wasn't as bad as it seemed.
Max started pulling the book it up and it felt a little bit heavier, then he thought it should be. "Help me pull this up," Max said to his wife with a worried face, since he was losing his grip.
By the time they got the bucket up to the top, they were startled by what they saw and it was a skeleton head. But who does it belong to or what was it Max and Dixie talk to them self with a confused look on their face.
He decided to get his phone out of his back pocket and started dialing officer Jack's number. While it was ringing, Dixie saw a police car and started waving him down, when the officer put on his brakes.
He backed up, turning into the driveway and headed over to where they were. When Max was hanging his phone up, he noticed the cop car in the driveway and wondered who it was.
While Max and Dixie just stood there, Jack stepped out and walked over to where they were, wondering if that man had came back. "Okay, calm down," He said to them with a kind voice and went to call it in.
While they were doing that, Dixie went inside to grab some cold drinks and new, not to grab any beer. When she was done, Dixie headed back outside and had two bottle water, as well as two sodas in hand.
Jack stepped out of his car, making his way back to where they were and Dixie was trying to figure it out, which one Jack would like. I should I just asked him She thought to herself with a sigh.
"What would you like to drink, water or soda?" Dixie asked Jack with a smile.
"I'll have a water please," He said to her with a smile and she handed him a bottle.
"The coroner will be there shortly," He said to them, as he walked over to the well. While Jack was doing that, Max and Dixie was keeping a eye out for the coroner.
When they saw him pulling in and tap Jack on the shoulder, to let him know about it. The coroner walked over to where Jack was at, he will have to do a dental exam as well as a few other tests.
While the coroner had put the head into a small body bag, Kim and Jack try to search for more. After a few hours, they couldn't find anything else and let the Stewart's know, they would let them know what they find.
They packed up everything, as the coroner left and Jack talked for a few minutes. "I'll talk to you soon," He said to them with a smile.
When Jack was gone, Max and Dixie went into the house and started arranging things. After that, Max and Dixie looked at the clock and thought it was nine p.m. as they went upstairs, to get a shower.
"I don't know what to fix for dinner," she said to her husband, since she was indecisive.
"We'll figure it out, or go out to dinner," Max said to his wife.
"Okay," Dixie said was a kind voice and hoped they would eat out. When they were done talking, Max and Dixie stepped into the shower.
A minute later, they were startled when the lights went out and wondered why that happened. Maxim Dixie stepped out of the shower, as they were trying to get dried off and lights came back on.
They wondered, was it ghosts or was it a storm, that was making the power go off. Max put on his blue jeans with a grey t-shirt and Dixie had put on her black Jean mini skirt and a black T-shirt with roses on it.
They went downstairs, while making their way to the front door and saw, that it was pouring down in buckets. There was a lot of thunder, that was hitting every five seconds.
The wind was blowing sixty miles an hour, rattling the windows and breaking branches off the trees. Meanwhile over at the coroner's office Bobby was examining the skeleton head, that was found in the well.
Bobby Strickland age thirty nine years old with short red hair and hazel eyes. Is five foot six, heavyset and he is ambitious, as well as outspoken.
Bobby has been a coroner for ten years, he loves what he does and learn more stuff everyday. The coroner sent the teeth impressions out, to get a dental Matt and hoped it would get back to him fast, as he continued working on the skull.
Jack was about to leave and head to Max and Dixie's house, but the weather is stopping him from going. He decided to wait until the rain stops, to go and look around some more.
"I'm going to make tuna sandwiches with chips for dinner," Matt said to his lovely wife, because she didn't feel like cooking.
