the lost girl

the return home

things have changed in the nursery after the children have left

every night mrs darling sat at her chair near the fireplace with nana

mr darling stayed in nana's kennel believing it was his fault the children left because he chained nana up outside.

he said he will not leave the kennel till the children came home

oh nana mrs darling sighed I had dreamed my children came home,I dreamed they were asleep in their beds.

just then mrs darling saw her children come back through the window

my children she cried out,george come quickly they have returned

what said mr darling as he got out of the kennel

father we're back said micheal did you miss us?

soon he brought his children in for a hug

who are they? mrs darling asked when she saw the lost boys in the nursery.

mother,father they are the lost boys said wendy may they stay here?

well I don't know said mr darling

we'll be good said slightly

will you treat me with respect?

yes sir

let me have a little peace and quiet

we will always try to be so quiet

welcome to the family boys mrs darling said

peter Annabelle called out don't forget me alright

I will never forget he said

peter wait she called I do not want you to leave and I do not want to grow up she sobbed near her window.

but you must stay here to grow up,get married,and have children peter was trying to convince her to stay but all he really wanted was take her away.

I cannot any of that if I can't have you she cried

mrs darling saw the whole thing take place,true she wanted her daughter to stay,but she did want her to be happy.

Annabelle go with peter mrs darling said true we will miss you dearly but I want you to be happy.promise you will come visit

but I have to say goodbye Annabelle said now choosing she must go

after painful hugs and goodbyes she turned to wendy.

I will miss you dearly she told her sister.

I'll be fine she reassured her go with peter,you deserve each other.

and with that she and peter flew away back to neverland.

wendy promised she would never shut the window and she kept that promise.
