Chapter Three - Sending A Message

Under Master Cyclonis's orders, the Cyclonian Syndicate is on high alert. All Cyclonian operations were halted for the time being in preparation for the Colonel's retaliatory attack. Master Cyclonis would not leave anything to chance, knowing the Colonel was a dangerous force to be reckoned with. As she watches the news covering the retirement of All Might, Count Ulric enters the room. 

Count Ulric: Master Cyclonis. The convoy has arrived. 

Master Cyclonis: Very good. 

Master Cyclonis got up and followed Count Ulric to the meeting point just outside the compound where a convoy of three black cars began driving up towards the compound. As the convoy got close to the compound, all cars suddenly exploded. The force of the explosion knocks Cyclonis and Count Ulric down. All cars were completely destroyed by the explosion as Dark Ace along with Ravess and Snipe rushed outside. 

Dark Ace: Master Cyclonis!

As Dark Ace helped Cyclonis up, the teenage leader of the Cyclonian Syndicate looked upon the burning wreckages of the convoy. It was clear to Cyclonis as to who was responsible. 

Master Cyclonis: It seems the Colonel has made his first move. 

Snipe: Stupid fucking spider freak! I knew he wasn't a real threat! He only got low level Talons!

Count Ulric: That wasn't meant to kill us, Snipe. That was merely a warning shot. A taste for what is to come. 

Suddenly, an arrow is fired near Cyclonis. Before she could react, the arrow had pierced the wall next to Cyclonis. Everyone looked around and saw a masked man standing on the roof. In an instant, the man was gone. Before Dark Ace could chase after the archer, Master Cyclonis stopped him. Cyclonis looked to the arrow that had narrowly missed her and saw a note attacked to the arrow. Dark Ace grabbed the note and read it. 

Dark Ace: Nadie es intocable.

Master Cyclonis: It's Spanish for no one is untouchable. The Colonel is sending a message. 

Count Ulric: He is more tenacious than I expected. I knew he was a dangerous man, but even I didn't expect him to react so quickly.

Dark Ace: If he knows where we are, than that means we're compromised. 

Snipe: Why don't we hunt down that freak and his posse?! I say we string them up for everyone to see!

Ravess: And do you know where they are? Hhm?

Count Ulric: Ravess is right. We cannot afford to scour the country searching for the Colonel. This is exactly what the Colonel wants. He wants us to waste our resources looking for him. 

Master Cyclonis looked upon the destruction caused by the Colonel. She had never faced an enemy so tenacious and ruthless. It was all too clear to Cyclonis that the Colonel was someone to be feared.

Master Cyclonis: The Colonel has made the first move. By attacking us at our very home, he intends to make us look weak. And if we appear weak, our rivals may grow bold and attempt to overthrow us. We must asset our authority or else we give the Colonel exactly what he wants. 

With that, Cyclonis made it very clear that she did not intend to play by the Colonel's game. In fact, she intended to wage total war against the Colonel. Meanwhile in a lavish mansion in Musutafu, the Colonel has established a permanent residence there under the name of Oboro Sakai. In the mansion, the Colonel meets with Camazotz as well as the archer who attacked the convoy. 

Colonel: Welcome back, Falcon. Did our friends in the Cyclonian Syndicate receive the message. 

Falon: Si, Colonel. They got the message loud and clear. 

TheColonel: Very good, Falcon. Cyclonis shall learn very quickly of the price of arrogance. She will quickly regret her rash decision. 

Camazotz: Do you really think she'll fall in line?

The Colonel: I am optimistic of that outcome, my friend. As powerful as she may be, she is only a child.

The Colonel then looked over the files on the various members of Cyclonis's inner circle as well as the Cyclonian Syndicate itself. The files were detailed with the exception of Cyclonis who's life was a mystery. That however didn't concern the Colonel in the slightest. In his mind, Cyclonis was merely a child who lacked proper experience. Despite his immense respect for the Cyclonian Syndicate, he found Cyclonis's arrogance to be distasteful and unbecoming of a criminal leader.

The Colonel: We shall wait to see how Cyclonis reacts. Perhaps she will see reason and reconsider my offer. If not, then she shall be taught the price of arrogance. 

Camazotz: Your forces are ready for your command. Give me the word and I shall swarm the compound. 

The Colonel: We have not reached that point, amigo. For now, we wait for Cyclonis's reaction to our message. We will act accordingly. We will retaliate appropriately. In the meantime, scout out any potential recruits for our organization. They may prove useful in the future. 

Camazotz: Si, senor.

Camazotz and Falcon soon left the room. As they did, the Colonel began to reflect on his first move and anticipated Cyclonis's. With the first move being made, the Colonel had established himself as a credible threat to the Cyclonian Syndicate. The gang war between the Cyclonian Syndicate and the Colonel's organization would soon rage across the city. But neither would back down as the stakes were simply too high for them to back down. They would fight this war to the bitter end.
