"CLOVE YOUR MENTOR IS HERE!" Melashia knocks repeatedly on the closed door. The mentors were lazy asses for not riding on the same train with us. I don't mind though. I just really don't want to face Enobaria, I will snap. It won't go down well. I don't know who the male mentor is this year, maybe Arthus or Hersius (her-see-us), but it may be a another girl though, like Lyme.

"Okay coming!" I respond and force myself off the plush, cream and deep scarlet comforter on the squishy memory foam mattress, at least Melashia told us it was memory foam. To be honest I can't tell the difference.

I walk into the tiled bathroom to splash my face with cold water.

The only problem, I couldn't figure out which button meant on. The Capitol literally had a different language engraved on the metal buttons that lined the counter space. So I decide to press a random one.

Orange, foamy soap shoots from an opening and straight into my open eyes. "Ah!" My eyes sting and snap shut as one of my hands shoots to my face as the other frantically searches for the cold water button. All I got was a face full of boiling water, more soap, and perfume.

I press the last one and cold water splashes in my face. 'Finally!' The soap was still in my eyes, so I flushed them thoroughly so I don't permanently damage them or something. No need to become more blind. You never know what's in that Capitol stuff.

I press another button and a slight cherry vanilla scent filled the room. Cherries and vanilla perfume...

Makeup? Wasn't planning on it till I accidentally pushed a button with my elbow and a mechanic arm comes out of the wall and applies eyeliner, mascara and some weird ass powder. How? I don't really care. I'm just happy that mascara brush didn't get shoved into my eye.

But did I wash it off? No I didn't. I don't remember what button the cold water was again. My eyes were closed so I obviously couldn't see the writing.

I hear a demanding knock at the door. Rolling my eyes, I take my hair out of the ponytail.

"Just a second!" I call and walk over to the door. The door opens anyways, before I could even put a hand on it, and Cato stands there.

"I was coming." I sigh. He says nothing of it (actually nothing at all) and escorts me to the dining room where we will meet out mentors.

There was already someone tearing away at the food. Her dark hair was in a pony tail and her teeth ripped through the meat like it was nothing.

"Sweeties, meet your mentor Enobaria Mitchell!" Melashia exclaims and looks down at her watch. "He will be here soon."

Enobaria snaps her head in our direction and gives a toothy grin. Her teeth were at a deathly point, and dipped in gold.

"Why hello." she greets and stands up, leaving her food on the table. "He will be late, got in the wrong train.... He does that a lot." Enobaria mentions while eyeing Cato up and down. She glances at me and scoffs. I get the whole 'secret mentor thing' but this is ridiculous!

"I'm so sorry I wasn't able to volunteer for you again! Sometimes our District is so stupid. At least we'll have a victor this year." She states sarcastically. The last sentence wasn't filled with sarcasm though, she knows that Cato will be the victor.

"Turn that frown upside-down Clover! You should be happy you got to say goodbye to your brother before you left! Oh wait..." Enobaria laughs as my muscles tense. Cato stands there uncomfortably.

"Don't. You. DARE." My hands clench.

"OOOH SOO scared! A little fourteen year old will defeat me!" I've lost it.
