"What are you cooking again?" Kian asked, fiddling with the food in the cart.
"Food Kian," she annoyedly sighed. "Now get me those noodles. I can't reach them."
Kian reached up to get her those noodles. "Fancy," he laughed.
"Shut up," she pushed the cart on him. "Why are you in such a good mood? You never want to joke around."
Kian shrugged. "Excited I guess."
"For?"
"Dinner," he smiled.
"I cook for you-" Blake stopped herself. "Oh. We get to have an actual meal today. Right?"
"Yeah. I mean we have since I've been working."
"Yeah but not homemade. Or atleast not my homemade," she argued.
"Well I mean Jackie usually only makes me breakfast. She cooked twice since I've been working. Every other day it's been pizza, Indian, halal, Chinese," Kian shrugged. "So not much of a change."
"Well today you'll be eating a new recipe I've been working on. My teacher chef said it was so good she thought I was black."
Kian laughed. "What?"
"I don't know," she shrugged.
They finally finished getting everything they needed. They got their items checked out.
"How do we get there?" She asked.
"You put the money in the bank right?"
"Yup," she popped the P.
"Then uber we go."
When they arrived, Blake was blown away like Kian had been.
Kian put a bag down to knock on the door.
Rufus answered. "Mr. Manchester," he bowed his head.
"Mr. Rufus," he bowed his head as well.
Rufus laughed. "Come in."
They walked in and again, Blake was blown out of the water. "Wow!" She said. "This is...wow."
They walked up the stairs and there was all three of them having family time.
Kian looked at Jackie and thought she looked sexy. Her hair was tied up. She was wearing a gray spaghetti strap and some white sweatpants.
"Hey," she greeted, going to hug Kian. When she let go her eyes grew wide. "Hey! Oh my God! Blake right?" She hugged Blake as well. "It's so good to meet you."
"Kian!" Blake yelled. "You didn't tell me your boss was the Jackie Welths!" She yelled.
"Yes I did?" Now he was unsure if he had or hadn't. "We had a whole conversation about it. You even passed by her-"
"I like love you," she smiled. "Such an inspiration."
Okay then, Kian thought.
