Kian said his goodbyes to Jaqu. It was a little emotional for her because she started to gain a real love for him.
Jackie told Jackson that she got rid of Kian and he went back home.
It's been a month since everything went down. Kian had done almost everything he wanted with the money he'd gotten. Boy was it a lot of money.
He got a new mattress, payed the water, light and rent bill for the next six months. Got him and his sister a new phone, got some fresh new clothing, and got his first and second tattoo.
The first one being Blake and the second being tweetie bird. Why? He had a secret love for her.
He had so much left over money that he shoved it in a shoebox and put it to the side.
Blake and Jackie had been discussing and planning out the restaurant. They had there own meetings, far from Kian. Kian was never brought up nor did Jackie think about him.
But, without him, Jackie knew she was struggling. Jackson began his rehab again, leaving him unavailable. Jaqu didn't like Rufus for some weird reason. Her only option was to take her to school, pick her up, and take her too the office.
Usually, Kian picked Jaqu up from school and took her home but, he wasn't there.

"Want to get some icecream?" Jackie asked as her and Jaqueline walked down the street.
"Sure!" She yelled in excitement. "Are you going to get some with me?"
Jackie sighed. "I guess."
"What's your problem with icecream," Jaqu giggled.
"Nothing," Jackie shrugged. "Just isn't my favorite."
Jaqu shrugged. Then she gasped. "Look mommy! It's Kian!" Jaqu let go of her mothers hand and ran towards him. Completely ignoring her mothers shouts. She jumped up on the bench and hugged him.
"Jaqueline?"
"Hey Kian!" She yelled. "How are you!"
"I'm good. Are you alone? Where's your babysitter?"
"I don't have one. I'm with my mom," she pointed behind her. Kian looked in the direction. Jackie gave him an awkward smile.
"Well it was nice seeing you," he smiled at her.
"How come you don't babysit me no more?" She asked. "Did my mommy fire you?" She gave him an angry expression.
"Ugh," he gave her an awkward smile.
"Hey," Jackie awkwardly greeted.
"Hey," Kian said back.
"How are you?" She asked him.
"Better," he smiled.
"Did something happen?" Jaqu asked. "Is that why you couldn't babysit me anymore?"
"Yeah but it has nothing to do with you," he smiled. "It was my mistake."
Jaqu didn't understand what he meant. But, Jackie did.
"Don't blame yourself Kian. It-"
"No," he forced a smile. "It's...it's okay. Thank you though. The job might not have been very long but it was great help. Really."
Jackie forced a smile as well. "Well we have to go. See you around."
Jaqu gave him one last hug. "Bye Kian." She climbed off the bench and took her mothers hand. They walked out the distance.
Kian wanted to cry but, not in public.
*****
Later that night, Jackie cried. She felt horrible, alone even. She hurt Jaqu, she hurt Kian, she hurt herself.
She made the stupid choice of going and sleeping with Kian. She knew it was wrong. She knew it was going to affect their relationship. She felt like she was having an affair with one of her childs classmates. Oh wait, she was.
"Mom?" Jackson peaked in. When he saw she was crying, he went and sat next to her. "Ma what's wrong?"
"Nothing. Please just get out and leave me alone. I don't want to be bothered," she sighed.
"I'm trying to talk to you though. You complained about my lack of communication. Now I'm tryna right my wrongs."
Jackie sighed. "It's nothing a child would understand."
"So help me understand," he hugged his mom.
"It's no use. We'll just be back to square one," she sighed.
He let go. "This is about him, isn't it? Kian?"
"This is about a lot. Okay? I'm stressed out and tired. I just want to go to sleep," she sighed.
"What's so special about him anyways?" He asked.
"Jackson I'm not doing this again. Okay? You didn't like him so I got rid of him. No contact with him. You should be happy now just leave already," she pushed him. She laid down on the bed and looked at the white wall from afar.
Of all the yelling and begging and signals his mom gave him, this was the one. He was finally beginning to see, to understand. It hurt him that he caused so much pain for his mother. The disrespect, the ignoring, the fighting. It was making her breakdown more and more.
And when she was around Kian, she didn't feel that way. She had someone to talk too. She had someone to lean on, to depend on. She wasn't alone or angry, or broken. She had someone she could count on.
Now Jackson really wanted to right his wrongs.
