C A U G H T

Kian was sitting on the Welths couch watching television. It was late on a weekday and he was waiting for Jackie to come home. It has been three days since what Jackson found out. He was waiting for Kian to be alone.

Kian yawned. He didn't want to fall asleep but he couldn't help it. He didn't sleep comfortably at home. The only time he actually got to sleep smoothly was on their couch or in her bed.

The money he'd been receiving was beyond enough to afford a bed. But, he didn't want to be too quick with it. He wanted to pay out all of the bills, upgrade his phone, by a new stove, and replace the lighting. He'd been working for Jackie nearly a month now. He wanted to plan everything out, and then buy, buy, buy.

"Kian! I'm home!" Kian heard her he was just too tired to respond. "Kian you asleep?"

"Mmm," he groaned.

"You want to stay or do you need Rufus?" She poked him to get an answer.

"Mmmm," he groaned again.

Jackie sighed. "Okay well I'll call your sister and let her know."

She walked up the stairs. She noticed Jacksons door had been open which was weird. His door is never open.

"Jackson?" She peaked in. "You okay?"

"I'm fine," he spat.

"The hell is wrong with you?" She crossed her arms over her chest.

Jackson laughed. "What's wrong with you?"

Jackie took a step back. "You know what I'm go in my room before I end up doing something I shouldn't." She walked to her room. "Fuckin' attitude," she said under her breath.

She slammed the door. She took her phone out her pocket and dailed Blake's number.

"Hey," Blake dully said.

"Hey, you okay?"

"Yeah," Blake sighed.

"You sure? You sound tired."

"Yeah. I am," she sighed.

"Well I just wanted to tell you that Kian is passed out my on couch. I was trying to get him up but I think he's like exhausted, exhausted."

"Yeah he doesn't get much sleep at night. So I guess when he's over with you he gets his best rest," she laughed a little.

"Aww," she poked out her lip. "Well umm...yeah. He's asleep on the couch."

"Okay thanks." She quickly hung up.

Jackie wanted to know more about her distress but she didn't want to call back and make her more upset.

Jackie sighed.

She realized that before she met Kian, she only had Jaqu. She didn't really feel the need to get super duper close with her workers. Her son was a dick. And she didn't really want to be social. She just started heavily working again but even so she was tired.

She thought about Kian some more. He was very nice to her. Very caring of Jaqu. He always wanted to know how she was doing and more about her work. He gave her attention. Lots of it.

She tried to get Jackson to be just as invested in her career but he's selfish. Selfish and rude. And she couldn't deal with it. She was becoming old and tired.

She undressed her self and went down to get a class of water. Before she took a step out of her room she heard glass break followed by yelling.

"Your sleeping with my mom you creep!" Jackson yelled.

"I'm not-"

Jackson punched him in the nose. Blood slowly dripped from Kians nose.

"Jackson!" His mother yelled.

"No!" He yelled at his mother.

Kians vision went blurred. He started hearing a ringing in his ears. How hard had he been punched? He was fading.

"Don't talk to me like that!" She yelled.

"You know, I knew something was going on! But with him? That's disgusting! He's the same age as me for starters!"

"And? Atleast he gives me attention! I tried with you but you never care! When I needed help the most, I couldn't even ask you! So I looked for a babysitter. So yeah we slept together. The hell are you going to do about it? Huh? Act like a damn man Jackson! People have sex! Get over it!"

"You know what, I hope you and your little boy toy have a happy life. I'm leaving!"

Jackie wanted to argue but she couldn't. The words just wouldn't come out.

She wasn't like her parents. She hadn't kicked her child out. She felt worse. She made her child want to go...

Okay, yall..
