Decided to take a break to get my designer skills back in gear. And decided to use them to redesign the characters of the show and even Jesse. Decided to add some of their best quotes to them as well. Ral won't be changed as his original design was by me anyway. And in all honesty, I can't help but imagine the characters looking like this now. I'm even gonna throw in my opinions of the characters for you guys. Hope you guys enjoy. These are my designs of the cast.

Jesse's art was a mess to make. My art program's fill tool is a little messy so I ended up with a bunch of similar colours turning into the same ones all over the place. But in the end, I think it was worth it. I added the katana blade in the background to give the image more personality. I may have designed Jesse a little younger than he's supposed to be but it fit my aesthetic of looking like a main hero.
Jesse I had originally created via a rather silly but helpful Total Drama character creator online. Jesse's character was one I didn't have that much trouble with. I just thought of a semi-serious Dante and that was it. I tried not to make Jesse generic or bland like Sky so I added some flaws like he was too emotional, had a short temper and a complicated father-son relationship and that was all I needed to make Jesse feel like someone I could have fun writing. Another thing I needed was to make sure Jesse had what the characters of Total Drama, or any character in any form of media needed to stand out. A label or shtick, something Sky didn't have. Like Gwen is a gothic introvert, Leshawna's a short-tempered yet kind-hearted party girl, Heather's a spoiled manipulator and Alejandro's a manipulative golden boy. And even though Sky was supposedly an athlete, it was done so much better with characters like Jo or Lightning and it was never really touched on. So I decided to make Jesse the Wise-Cracking Swordsman who wears cool leather jackets. Can't argue it worked. Now I feel like I've made a fleshed out character in Jesse. So tell me in the comments what you think of Jesse, is he a better match for Gwen and are you excited to see where his growing rivalry with Ral is getting to?

Gwen's art was the first one I started and it wasn't exactly easy. I sketched the faces on paper and Gwen's hairstyle wasn't exactly easy to get right. I obviously edited her colour scheme to get more colour but to also emphasize her gothic style and to add more personality. My art program's fill tool is a little messy so it ended up turning her eyes and eyebrows pitch black and not dark green. I was originally gonna go on a manhunt level fixer quest but decided not to as it actually helped the colour more. I also tried to make her more attractive in design terms as her original one was a little plain.
