"Baek! I'm leaving I gotta go see my grandma!"
"Alright be safe babe!"
"Ok!" Chanyeol yelled back instantly running out the house. Yeol was always visiting his grandmother lately. To Baek's mind it wasn't a big deal it was just family business but today he felt a bit off about everything.
Yeol lately has had Baek sleep in the spare room due to his own room being messy, Baek doesn't mind and offered to help clean but Yeol would become jumpy at the thought and mention of it and decline the offer immediately. Baek just decided not to question it not wanting to be in his business of piss him off at all so he ignored it as if he doesn't act that way. Half an hour Yeol left, Baek got bored of the tv and decided to go to his room to maybe do homework but then midway there he saw the older's room left open and unlocked.
Looking around the house real quick and listening for any noise of his boyfriends return he opens the door hesitatingly.
"Oh my god." He mumbled walking inside the room and leaving the door wide open.
The room was covered in boxes, papers like bills, envelopes, notes and other things, lots of dirty dishes and the bed covered in a mountain of clothes along with a few piles spread across the room. This place looked awful and now understood why he wasn't sleeping in here.
He noticed the boxes were closed expect for one, walking over to the box he saw a picture of him with two young women. One was older so he assumed it was grandmother or aunt but the younger one looked about a teenager in this picture so he guessed it could be Chanyeol's mom. Inside the box were hospital bills and paper work about loans, an old sweater, lots of hate notes, empty pill bottles and a picture of Yeol and the same woman but the male also in the picture has his face burnt out.
He noticed on the back of an open bill an address which was the address to the hospital his grandmother was staying in along with her room number and the visiting hours along side a small reminder stating "Bring the pills every week or two."
Was it bad he wanted to know what happen? Why Yeol would act so weird about everything? The man who was burned out of the picture? Why he kept this box and why his room is so trashy? It was a gut feeling to visit his grandmother now that he knows the address and her room number and he alway went with whatever he's feeling. Running out the room and locking the door he ran to his own getting dressed as fast as he could. He wasn't allowed outside cause Chanyeol has developed trust issues since Baek didn't tell him where he went last time three times he went out with friends so yeol took his house key back, set him a curfew, and is with him every second he can get watching over his lover like a hawk.
Baek found a rabbit hole tho by unlocking the window in the kitchen and walking out the house locking the door. He grabbed the bike Yeol had and biked himself to the hospital making sure he had the paper with the address the room and his grandmothers name.
