Chapter 12: Nitmares and Faith

Peeta's POV:

I was woken up by feet kicking me in the back. I knew it was Katniss, but I thought she just moves a lot in her sleep. Until I was knocked off my bed and I started to hear faint cries. Katniss was laying down shaking like crazy and she kept on crying my name.
"Peeta!" She screamed. I tried to shake her to wake her up but I couldn't wake her up. I knew she was having a nightmare. She started to toss and turn and I did everything I could to try and wake her up.

Nothing worked.

"Peeta!" She screamed again.
"Katniss wake up! It's ok I'm here!" I screamed.

No answer.

She starting to shake really badly and I started to cry. My poor Katniss is suffering and I cant do anything about it. I them tried kissing her to see of anything worked. She then opened her eyes and started breathing really heavily. She then saw me and go up and started crying like crazy.
"Peeta! Your ok!" She says with her head in my neck.
"Yes, I'm ok. Katniss, you wee shaking and screaming for me and I did everything I could to wake you up but I didn't get any response until I kissed you. I'm so sorry Katniss." I apologize.
"Peeta there is no need for you to apologize. I'm just so happy you didn't leave me." Katniss says while sobbing.
"I would never leave you. I promise. I will always be here with you." I say.

"Always."

Katniss' POV:

I had a terrible nightmare last night and I thought I was never gonna wake up from it. But when Peeta kissed me, my eyes shot open and all I could do was hug him and cry. I'm just glad it's over and that he won't ever leave him. I love that boy so much. Anyways, me and Peeta drove to school and we met up with everyone at the front. They all look a little upset. I wonder why.
"Hey guys!" I say walking up to them.
"Hey." Said Annie with a sad look on her face.
"Is everyone ok?" I ask.
"The guys are fine, we are just really upset." Glimmer explains.
"Why?" I question. They all look at faith.
"Faith? What's wrong?" I ask.
"My dad... He got a job in California. He said that we didn't have to move and that he would just be there for a few months. But my mom refused to live without my dad, and now my mom is making me move to California with him." Faith explains. I'm on the verge of tears but all I could do is run up to her and hug her.
"When do you leave?" I ask.
"In a week." She says.
"Well, then we gotta have a much fun as we can during this short week. Right girls?" I ask.
"Yeah!" They all shout.
"Wanna ditch school and go to the mall? It starts off the last week of fun?" I ask.
"Sounds great!" They all say. The guys decided to join us.

When we get to the mall the guys go one way and we go the other way. We shop for about 4 hours, but we finally get super tired and decided to meet the guys at the food court.
"My arms are killing me." I say, putting my bags on a chair at the food court.
"Probably because you have 6 heavy bags in your hand." Johanna says.
"No kidding." I say, smiling at Johanna.
"Hey guys!" I hear Finnick scream.
"No need to scream!" Johanna yells back.
"Feisty." Says Finnick.
We sit down and eat at the food court for like an hour. Peeta sits next to me and we hold hands under the table. Are hands break apart once we get up to leave. It takes us about 10 minutes to get back to our cars. The guys took one car and we took another. I kiss Peeta and get into the car. We sing One Direction songs all the way home. We opened the window so that everyone could here is singing. Were so weird. We stopped at a red light and sung louder with windows open. One guy rolled up his window with a dirty look on his face. But that didn't stop up at all. We finally got home and I was to tired to even eat dinner. I just walked upstairs and fell asleep.

*a week goes by*

Faith is leaving today. It's really upsetting because when me and Peeta broke up, she was always there for me. She wasn't a best friend, she was more a sister. And I will always remember her being there for me when I needed her the most.
"My dad is here to pick me up. I'm leaving to go to California now." She says frowning. I start sobbing. I run up to her and give her a huge hug.
"I'm gonna miss you so much Faith." I say between sobs.
"I'm gonna miss you too Katniss." She says. "You were like a sister to me."
"And you were always there for me. I will never forget that faith. You have to come a visit, and I will come to California in the summer so we can spend a week at the beach." I say.
"Sounds great!" She says smiling. Her dad is outside my house and is honking for faith to come out.
"I have to go Katniss, I'll miss you. And I'll kiss you guys too." She says giving the girls all a hug.
"Remember me." She says.
"I will always remember you." I say giving her another hug. "Keep in touch, we will see each other soon." I say trying to cheer all of us up.
"So excited! I'll miss you guys. Bye!" She says running to her dad's car with tears in her eyes. She gets in and we wave to her when she starts driving away. She waves back. She was a sister to me. And I will miss her so much.

I walk back inside and the girls and I decided to go out to eat to get out mind off of faith. We decided to go to chipotle, my favorite restaurant. Once we get there, we see the people I wish never existed.

Paris and Delly.

"Oh, look who it is." Paris says grabbing my hair.
"Get off me Paris, you have already hurt me enough and made me go to the hospital because you told Delly to hurt me." Why would I say that. Now she is gonna want to hurt me again.
"I haven't hurt you enough, you precious boyfriend, will be mine one day, and in gonna do anything I can to make the happen." She explains.
"Oh ok, well, good luck with that." I say smiling and kicking her in the stomach so she would stop pulling me hair.
"Your gonna regret that." She says getting up and walking away.

Great, now she is gonna try and steal my boyfriend. She isn't gonna get any where with that.

We ate dinner and decided to walk home, while Glimmer takes the car back home. Once we were walking home, I was thinking about what Paris said about stealing me boyfriend. She can't steal him from me, can she? I'm starting to get anxious that it will happen. No it's not gonna happen. That's when I turned around to see something I never wanted to see.

Paris kissing Peeta.
And Peeta kissing back.
Another stupid Delly situation.

Faith moved away, Paris and Delly are trying to steal Peeta, and now Katniss is witnessing something that happened at the dance all over again. Yikes!😬 thanks guys so much for 530 reads!
