The Shifter In The Avengers (Bucky Barnes)

N

ick, an old friend of mine, called me and asked me to come to him office today to talk and of course I said yes because he normally doesn't call me for anything unless it's important. Right now im on my way up in an elevator to his office in S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters and playing Mahjong.

After reaching the correct floor and the door opens i walk down to the door labeled "Director Nickolaus Fury" and knock on the door.

"Come in" I hear a deep voice speak out. Walking in i see 10 people are in the room.

Behind the mahogany desk is a dark skinned man with a black eye patch on, no hair and a stern face. This man's name is Nickolaus fury or nick

In the right hand corner stood a man with messy Burnett hair, chocolate brown eyes, clean shaven face, and a calm yet watchful demeanor. I could tell that was Bruce Banner or the Hulk

On one of the chairs infront of nick's desk was a man with drown hair slicked back with gel, facial hair, brown eyes and a cocky demeanor. This was the famous Tony stark aka Iron Man

In the chair next to him sat a beautiful ginger with green eyes and slender body with a calm yet stiff demeanor. This was the most deadly woman named Natasha Romanoff or also known as Black Widow

Standing behind her stood a man with Burnett hair, blue eyes, short facial hair and a calm demeanor with a bow and arrows strapped to his back. His name was Clint Barton or better known as Hawk Eye

Leaning against the wall next to the door stood a tall blond man whose hair reached right under his shoulders with blue eyes and huge muscles. This man was know threw out the world and the rest of the 7 realms as Thor Odinson son of Odin

Beside him but down a few feet stood two people. The first being a blue eyes, burnett beauty with an air of magic surrounding her. Her name is Wanda Maximoff. Beside her stood a blond, almost white haired male with blue eyes and a surprising air of electricity surrounding him. His name is Petro Maximoff, twin of Wanda.

On the last wall stood two men. The first was a blond with blue eyes, clean shaven face, and the demeanor of leadership and shock. This man was Steve Rogers or as most females knowns him better as, Captain America.

And lastly standing next to Mr. Rogers was a man with a metal arm with a red star at the shoulder, brown hair that reached his shoulders, and blue eyes that hid pain and suffering inside them. This man was James "Bucky" Barnes, or as Hydra calls him, Winter Soldier.

"Nickolaus Fury you better have a good reason for calling me at work" I spoke looking right at nick

"Ah Irelyn, you finally arrived. I want to ask you to join the avengers? I have already talked to everyone here anx they have agreed if you would except" Fury spoke up getting straight to the point wich i liked

"Have they learned about everything" i asked glaring at the darker skinned man

"No I thought you would like to tell them. I only said that you would make a great team member and be able to help them take down Hydra better" Fury confessed.

I looked around at everyone "let me explain some things before you except me into your team. 1) im not truly human, im a shape shifter and I turn into a wolf, 2) I was used and experimented on by Hydra and 3) I can control earth and fire. Now that you know more about me do you still want me in your team?" I ask them all.

Steve looks at me and nods his head " I have not known you personally but I have came into that book store you work at and have seen that you are a good person. I'd like for you to join our team"

James leans onto the wall "I may not know you but I can see that you are like me and are strong. I as well would like you to join the team."

Natasha and Clint looked at each other then to me " it would be nice to have another set of hands to fight Hydra. We agree"

And so on until Tony agreed. I am now an official part of the Avengers.

-time skip-

Tony invited me to the tower for everyone to get to know me and me to get to know them. Im now in the common room level with the rest of the team and we are introducing ourselves. Tony suggested me say our names, why we are on the team, and something we like.

"Well you already know my name is Irelyn. I guess im on the team due to my "gifts" and i like books." I spoke when it came my time

"Books? Is that why you worked at a book store?" Tony asked me

"Yes. Actually that's where I first saw Steve right here. He came in looking for a book called 'the art of war' which is a very good book" I explain and Steve nods in agreement.

We talk like this getting to know each other better for the rest of the day until it became late when I left to go home, of course they said I could stay but I needed to go home and be in my bed. I promised I would come back the next day.
