Your SMILE!

Another day, I got outta my bed
But not before praying to see you again.
Early morning the first thought that came
In my mind was...
What could be your good name?

I headed to the window curling my hairs;
And mumbling a thousand names...
As I moved the curtains aside and opened the window,
The bright sun glistened my face.

I narrowed my brows and then....

Slowly, I opened my eyes and looked down;
I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing!

It was you! Again!
Standing by the street.

I shut my eyes tight and wished Joining my hands, "May you look up, just once, at me!"

I then opened my glinted eyes
And stared you, expectingly;
But only to find you leaving!

My face fell and lips stuck
As I saw you walking away...

But just then a miracle happened!
You turned, you turned and looked up at the sky.
My clutch on the curtain hardened;
'Please look here, please look here' was what I cried.

You looked! you smiled!
But wait! Not at me!
You looked at the sun, you smiled at the sun!
But why not at me!

Nevermind,
It's enough for me to see you smile.
Believe me, your one smile made me chuckle twice.

Don't know what's so damn special in it.
Whatever it is...
I thank God for such a precious gift!
