Is It The ENDING!!

I was anxious since the morning and now it's almost the end of the day.
In the black sky, up there, the silver moon's shining;
I too wanna join the dancing stars, wish I may!

I got down and stood at the place exactly where I saw you stand that day;
Up towards the moon, my head raised,
And I started making your face out of the grey stains.

After a short while I sensed someone.
'It's him' I rejoiced
(no jumped, to be precise).
You yourself were coming towards me,
I saw, when I turned,
To have the most wonderful surprise!

Me,
Eyes glittered, hands cold.
Cheeks red, lips fold.
More excited, little bold!

You came and stood half or a metre away;
My mind was blown already,
I forgot all that I wanted to say!

"Hi" luckily, you said
And it sounded as sweet as honey.
"Hello" somehow I made
Upto that with a heart pounding briskly!

I still can't believe you were talking to me!!

"Umm... friends?" He said and took his hand forward
I pulled my hand up, preventing any gesture, even a tad awkward.

"Yeah... friends!" My hand was about to touch his...
But No! wait!!
"Hey dude! C'mon we gotta go, we can't be late!"

On hearing that, I sadly clenched my palm back into a fist.

One of the three men, probably his friends,
Shouted that from far behind.
Our first meeting was ruined by them;
My dreams shattered and
I mutely whined!

Before even being friends or knowing each other's name
You...
You went!!

I'm angry with God;
He sent you
But only to say goodbye...!?

I cried!
I cried my heart out
that night!

Not because you left in between,
But because
Of the fear that made it's home in my mind:
Will we ever meet?

Because of the too many questions that danced in my mind;
What if I was seeing you for the last time!!

Why was I getting this feeling
That it was our last meeting!?

I stood there staring you for a while
and watched you leave.
And when you didn't turn back...
I did!

Did it all End up even before Starting!
Is it
The Ending!!?
