Three
“Can I have a minute with you Ms. Hamilton?” Mr. Henry asked me.
“Sure, of course.” I stood up from my seat as my classmates started to desert the room. English drags into, what, same as ever. Mr. Henry gave his dos and don’ts whenever we are in his class. But this year, I was stunned that I actually listened to what he said. Mr. Henry has been my English teacher since last year and I know that a while ago was not hard part for him to say all his expectations from us because most of us are handled by him the past year.
But it really surprised me that I listened.
It is because in my entire high school life I never did pay attention to him at all.
However, after that I turned my attention to my-now-favorite-subject, William Margaux.
He seemed so drawn to every word Mr. Henry said. Well, that’s a good student, Stella, I thought and in fact, it looks like he isn’t so bad after all. Of course, what happened a while ago is one of the things I think that he is natural with, saving someone from humiliation.

Liam smiled and I found out that I like his smile.
“So, how are you gonna prove that to me?” Liam answered and crossed his arms. I haven’t noticed before, he changed his black flannel shirt into dark blue long sleeves that really fit him especially his sleeves are rolled up. I definitely like it.
“This,” Mr. Henry waved me to Liam’s side and put one hand at the small of my back which Liam noticed fast enough.
“Um, sir would you…” he eyed his hand, the one on my back, “do not do that.”
He said and sighed.
“Oh, sorry but this,” he looked at me then he shifted his eyes to look on Liam, “would prove that to you.”
“Prove? Is that why you called me here?” I protested.
Mr. Henry put both his hands at his back and walked. “Yes, Ms. Hamilton. I have the feeling that you’re running President at the Student Union, am I correct?”
“Well, I have a feeling also that I am certainly not entitled in that position because I’m just a junior, and only a senior can be―”
