Gion looks around and confusion starts to rush inside him. He doesn't know everyone who are looking at him. His mind is too blank and he doesn't understand why he felt so scared of them except to the man in the corner. The very first person he saw when he opened his eyes. He heard that he has amnesia due to the accident that happened before.
"Love, are you okay? Talk to us." Gion took a gaze to the man who hold his hand he immediately grabbed his hand away and he saw the pain in that man's eyes.
"I-i understand you are scared. I'm Tyler, Love, I am your fiancée." Tyler said but Gion refuse to talk. He doesn't know but something pushing him to avoid them all. He's not comfortable.
"Gion. I'm Neil. You might not remember me but we are childhood best friends." Neil smiled. But Gion seems can't force himself to smile back.
"I'm Oliver and This is Flynn we're friends since high school." But instead smiling at them or greeting them. Gion looked to the man in the corner who was looking at him too. He gulped first before he point to him.
"W-who is that?" He pointed to him. Jariell was shocked. Gion really sees him and even points at him. Tyler and others turn their head to the place where Gion pointed his finger and they saw nothing.
"What do you mean love?"
"T-the man wearing white pants and white top. Who is that?" Gion's voice was full of curiosity. Tyler looked again to the corner again but no one was there.
"M-maybe you just too tired love. That's why you are seeing something that's not real." Tay said. Gion's forehead knotted. But he was stunned when the man in the corner step forward. His heart was racing. And he frightened when he saw how that man just walk straight to Tyler and Tyler and others didn't even notice him. Gion saw how the man float in front of him while crossing his arms. It was smiling at him.
"Gion, they don't see me."
"I am a ghost. A handsome ghost." Gion didn't know what happen next but he only remembers that he yelled out of horror knowing he saw a ghost and all went black.
After Gion passed out. Jariell scratch his nape like a kid. He saw how others panicked but he also saw again the yellow color in their souls.
"They really into something. " he whispered. He felt sad knowing the little man was surrounded by people who cannot be trusted. And something pushing him to protect Gion from them. But how? He is just a ghost and he cannot even touch them.
Hours later Gion regained his consciousness. When he opened his eyes and looked around he felt relief when he didn't see others inside his room. He suddenly feels comfortable.
"They just took their dinner in the hospital cafeteria." Gion flinch as he heard that voice.
"Don't be scared. I'm not going to hurt you." He feels the sincerity in Off. He looked at to the ghost who is standing beside him.
"I'm Jariell." the ghost said.
"I'm Gion." Jariell nodded.
"I know. I've been here since the day you are confined here."
"Why are you here?" Gion asked. He smile to him.
"Just because." Jariell shrugged his head. Gion doesn't know but he feels so strange looking at the ghost in front of him.
"Why are you looking at me like that, shorty?"
"Who are you? Why did I feel I know you?" The atmosphere between them began to be heavy. Jariell just laughed an awkward laugh.
"I don't know you, Gion. Maybe because you recognize my voice. I keep talking to you every day when you are still in a coma." Jariell said. But Gion feel isn't because of that.
"Maybe you need a little bit rest-" The ghost stopped when Gion hold his wrist. As Gion touched Jariell's skin he felt an electric shock that make him let go of the ghost before letting him go. He saw something flash in his head. Gion was shocked but when he look at Jariell. He was stunned seeing the ghost shedding.
"W-why are you crying?" Gion asked that makes taller come back to his senses. He wiped his tears right away and look at Gion.
"How can you touch me?" Jariell frustratingly asked.
"I don't know-"
"Tao ka. Hindi mo dapat ako nahahawakan! H-how? First, you can see me. Now you can touch me." But instead answering those questions. Gion throws a question at him.
"Who are you? I know you saw something too? Who are you? and why are you here?" Gion seriously said.
"I don't know." Jariell said and vanished in the thin air.
"JARIELL! HEY OFF! COME BACK!" He keep yelling until Tyler and others came back.
"Hey love what happened?" Tay asked and run to Gion after hearing it shouting.
"Bring Jariell to me." Gion saw how others froze in their spot like he said something wrong.
"J-jariell? who's Jariell" his fiancee asked after seconds of silence.
"A tall man. Wearing all white. He's here. He's talking to me." Gion keeps searching for him and keeps asking them.
"Call a doctor," Tyler said and a few minutes later a doctor came and inject something into Gun and the little man slowly fell asleep.
"What's happening to him doc?" Tay asked the doctor.
"He seems fine. Maybe he's in shock. It's not easy for him to cope after 2 years of sleeping. Maybe the best for him is to see the person that he kept mentioning a while ago." Tyler feel so nervous when he heard that. He just nodded to the doctor and after that conversation, he dragged Neil outside the ward. Neil hugged Tay
"Babe, I'm scared," Tyler whispered. Neil tapped his back.
"Babe. Isn't your fault. It's not our fault." Tyler's tears start streaming as Neil wiped it off.
"H-he's looking for that man. What if he remembers everything-"
"Hey, listen to me. Even he finds out the truth he will never blame us. We're just a victim too. And babe, why he will look for that person? He never knew that man. So don't be afraid. I am here. I love you." Tyler took a deep sigh and tightened the hug.
"I love you too, babe."
Jariell started himself to the mirror even though he cannot really see himself. He's inside the bathroom in Gion's hospital room. He just hides.
"Why are you hiding here?" Jariell looked up and he saw another ghost who was floating.
"I'm hiding."
"Why?" What a nosy ghost he thought.
"The patient in this room can see ghost."
"Huh? Are you sure?"
"I'm sure, Alex. I am really sure he even touched me."
"Let me see. I will try to scare him like I'm always doing to the other floor." In just a second Alex changed his appearance into something really horrific.
"Wait for me here." he nodded. Alex go outside and Jariell waited to hear Gion's scream but minutes later he heard nothing. Until Alex's back with an annoyed expression.
"Are you joking? He didn't see me. I float in front of him but no reaction. I even dance."
"A-are you sure?" The other ghost nodded.
"Tingin mo ba magsisinungaling pa ako? Patay na nga ako gagawin mo pa akong sinungaling. D'yan kana nga. Babalik na ako sa station ko." Alex said and disappeared leaving him with many thoughts.
"So, I am the only ghost he can see?" he took a deep sigh and his tears fell out.
"I'm sorry," And a memory that he saw a while ago when Gion touched him flashed in his mind again and it's horrible. What's the meaning of this? What this scenes? Are my death are connected to him?
