LOST - 18

Tyler and others remained silent while waiting outside the operating room. Tyler can't look at them because he so feels guilty about what happened to Gion. If he only chooses the right in the very start they're surely living in peace right now. He knows everyone wants him to get lost in their sight but they chose not to talk.

After hours the doctors came out of the operating room. They are all nervous. The doctor's scrub suit has blood-stained. 

"Who's with Mr. Tiarez?" Tyler raised his hand. He's mad at his father's actions but he is still his father. He's still worried.

"He is stable now. We are going to transfer him to the regular room for his recovery." Tyler feels relieved after hearing that. But not relieved because of Gion's condition.

"H-how about my brother? Kuya Gion?" Flynn asked the doctor.

"The second patient received four bullets and it damaged his organs. And also, because of losing too much blood his brain didn't receive any oxygen while traveling here so I'm sorry but he is in a critical stage. And his history of being a comatose patient before makes everything worst. If he didn't wake up after 72 hours we will go to declare him brain-dead again. I'm sorry." After hearing that they all felt that their world collapsed. Tyler received punches from Oliver and Silla. Slaps from Flynn and Keita followed by their sobs. Tyler accepted everything from them. The curses punch anything that makes them better but he knows it will never happen. Tyler closed his eyes and let Flynn and Keita hurt him until a warm body hugs him like it was protecting him. When he opened his eyes with tears he received a smile from Neil but he know that it was fake. He knows Neil was in pain too. All of them were in pain because of their family. Because of him... Being a coward.

"It's okay, Babe. I'm here." After hearing that Tyler burst into tears.  When he calmed down he just stayed quiet. Neil just keeps talking. He discovered that Gion kidnapped Neil to protect him from any harm and avoid Neil to be used against him by his father.

"He is awake, Tyler. Your dad is awake." Neil said. He nodded.

"Want me to come with you?" He shrugged at his lover.

"I can do it." Tyler stood up and went to his father's ward. There are police guarding the door. They let him come in. 

"W-what are you doing here bastard?" That's the first thing he heard from his dad.

"How are you? Did your wound was painful—"

"D-don't act as if you care for me. YOU BETRAYED ME—AAh" His father hissed in pain. Tyler tried to move closer to his dad but Mr. Tiarez stopped him.

"Don't c-come near me."

"Dad—"

"I don't have a son anymore." Tyler's tears escaped after hearing that. 

"I just did the right thing." 

"Right thing? Betraying your father." Tyler looked down and sigh.

"I didn't regret doing it, dad. Always remember I love you that's why I did it." He didn't receive any response from his father so Tyler just leaves the room with heavy feelings but that feelings become heavier when he received a text from ICU which Jariell brought up a while ago after having 50/50 in this VIP room.

'Sir Tyler, Mr. Alicante was having another shock.'

Tyler rushed to the ICU floor he didn't look at Neil when he heard his name called by his boyfriend. 

"N-no, Jarrell. Hindi pwede. Babawi pa ako!" When he reached the IC. Tyler's heart almost explode when he saw the doctor trying to revive his best friend/brother. Tyler looked at the monitor that keeps beeping and saw Jariell's heart rate in its flatline. Minutes later Off's heartbeat came back.
