Dani put her head on my laps and looked up at the ceiling, well okay me. I stroked her hair softly as she starred off into space.

"You okay Dani?" I whispered, starring at her fondly.

She parted her lips, as if to speak, but didn't.

I continued to stroke her hair.

"Angela?" She said.

"Yes dani?" I stopped stroking her for a second, but continued as she started to speak.

"Where's your mom?" She closed her eyes and sighed.

"I told you before. She's out." I rolled my eyes, kind of annoyed of being asked the same question over and over again.

She sighed and sat up from my laps, pushing away my hand from her head. She turned around and sat in an Iroquois position. (A/N sorry idk what it's called in english)

"Seriously Angela? You may be able to fool the others but why is it that, conveniently, when your friends are over, she's not here?" Once she finished speaking she looked around the room, as if analyzing my living situation.

"Dani" i gritted my teeth. She had no right to just say something like that. "She. Is. Out."

She rolled her eyes and breathed out heavily. "Whatever."

Suddenly her eyes widened and jumped off the couch, running to the door and pulling her phone out.

"Mom. I- yes. I" she looked over at me and spun around, her back facing me.

Yeah sure just take my deaf-ness to your advantage.

I rolled my eyes and let my head hang from the back of the couch. I let out a sigh of frustration and pulled on my hair.

I rolled my head in her direction and saw her furiously push her phone back into her back and storming back next to me.

"So?" I coughed.

"So... what?" She asked, pretending to act as if she didn't know what I was saying.

I rolled my eyes and slapped her behind the head. "Don't tell me that was nothing. What was that?"

"I- um... Okay well my mom got mad because I stormed out" She looked away from me, trying to avoid anything else I had to say.

"Are you sure?" I reached for her shoulder.

"Yeah" she nodded slowly.

"Go home then" I got up and dusted myself off.

"W-what?" She looked surprised.

"Well if you're mom is only mad for storming off then you should be fine going home now" she looked away and then down to her fingers "right?"

Silence filled the room - well okay it's always silent shut up. She stood up and faced me with even more red eyes and puffy cheeks.

"Please don't tell anyone - especially Juliet" She pleaded.

"Yeah of course" I said, unsure of what we were talking about.

She sat back down on the couch and took a deep breathe in and after a while let it out. "Can we have a sleep over?"

I sat on the counter swinging my legs as I watched the popcorn turn in circles in the microwave. When the timer it 00:00 I jumped off the counter and licked my lips. I grabbed the bag of popcorn and dumped it into a bowl. I ran over to the couch and snuggled up in a cover.

I looked over at Dani once in a while, making sure she was okay.

I just woke up from a nice nap

What time did you sleep at? Its nearly 6pm oh my Lords.

Well i stayed up all night after I got home from... yeah

And you napped?

Napped.

I glimpsed over to Dani as she starred intently, focussing and smiling at the movie.

I smiled a bit and turned my own attention to the tv.

It was nearing midnight now, and since she was here i told her to order food. We debated on getting pizza and souvlaki (A/N oops it slipped (my greek-ness)) or pizza and chinese. In the end we got two extra large pizzas with chicken wings.

We played small game like 'who can hold there breathes the longest' (me), rock paper scissors, dice and go fish.

We were about to play another round of go fish since we were officially tied but the bell rang so she ran over to the door and grabbed the food from the delivery person and handed them the payment.

She skipped over to me and smirked. "I've got a better way to settle the score"

My eyebrows raised and i looked at her interested. "And it is...?"

"Who ever finishes a whole box of pizza and 5 chicken wings is the winner" she flashed a smile.

"Oh you're so on" i grabbed a box from her and we placed it in front of us.

"3?"

"2."

"1."

"Go!!!"

I whipped away the pizza sauce from my face and looked over to Dani, only to find her already done.

"Woah!" I gasped, hurt that she finished before me.

She grinned, pleased with my reaction. "rusty, buddy?"

I smirked and punched her arm. "not so bad tracky"

We laughed and turned our attention back to the tv.

After a while I got bored and grunted in boredom, trying to find something fun to do or talk about.

"How was Michael's new years party?" i blurted.

Her eyes widened and slowly turned to me."what did you hear?"

"Nothing?" I squinted my eyes, trying to find out what was going on.

"Oh" she pierce her lips. "truth?" i nodded. "Calum and I, juliet and luke and daniel and macie - we all had our new years kiss with each other. like not the 6 of us together but like with out - like... you know?" I rolled my eyes but a smile formed o my lips as i nodded.

"And what about Michael and Termitus?" I asked.

"Michael? michael is stupid" she scoffed.
