When Brad and I had our kids, we never thought that there would be one day when all of them had their own events: Elle was going to graduate from high school that morning, Chris was going to participate in a benefit soccer game that afternoon, and Bee was scheduled to play in a recital to see if he's eligible for a music summer camp that evening.

During the night before, however, Brad and I planned how things would work out, then we shared the plan with our kids to see if any of them had a problem with it. They were able to contribute by suggesting where they can help, then we got the show on the road.

"Roe?" Brad said from beside me, then I groaned. Obviously, I'm not a morning person, and he knew that, but I told him to not give up on me in the morning.

"Wake up, sleepyhead," Brad said as he tickled my side, and since I was ticklish, I immediately grew annoyed, but I was able to sit up and look at his cheeky grin.

"You still have some clothes to press and a dog to walk. You may want to start now if you want to be on schedule," Brad said, then I huffed.

"Whatever," I moaned, then Brad smiled as he leaned to me and kissed me on my cheek, making me blush.

"Thank you," I said sweetly, then he chuckled before going to the kitchen. I, on the other hand, pressed the clothes that we were going to wear tonight, just as planned.

After walking Jess, I took a shower before going downstairs to eat along with the twins. I cleared out the plates, as usual, and when I went to our bedroom, I saw that Brad was fixing his hair the way I liked it.

"Looking fine and dashing, are we?" I asked Brad, who smiled.

"Of course. By the way, I'll load Elle's flowers and Chris' soccer gear in the car later," Brad said, then I nodded my head.

"All clothes for tonight are already pressed; you can just get them in the laundry area when we come back here later," I said, then Brad smiled.

"So far so good," Brad said, then we shared a small kiss before I went to the bathroom to take a quick shower before joining them downstairs in my dress.

By the time I was downstairs, Brad was taking photos of Elle with her siblings on his phone, and when he saw me, he invited me to take pictures with Elle, then I took his phone from him so he can do the same before we went to their school's auditorium.

We arrived just in time, then we let Elle be with her batchmates and looked for the seats that were reserved especially for us. It wasn't a while until the ceremony began, then the graduates who had distinctions were announced to come to the stage one by one to receive their awards. Elle garnered proficiency awards in four subjects: Chemistry, English, Social Sciences, and Music. She also received an honorary medal for being the student body president. It wasn't long until their diplomas were given, then it was time the final part of the ceremony.

"Ladies and gentlemen, delivering the Valedictory speech is this year's Class Valedictorian, Eloise Jean Simpson!" Their school principal introduced our daughter, who went up the stage proudly as we stood up in our seats, clapping for her. Elle stood behind the podium, then she smiled at the person who introduced her.

"Thank you for the introduction, Principal Michaels, and for the warm welcome, ladies and gentlemen," Elle started, then she cleared her throat as she brought her speech out, then she started speaking.

"Before I begin, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate each and every one of my fellow graduates for making it. No matter what your extracurriculars, hobbies, interests, strengths, weaknesses, and personalities are, you are all still able to be here on this fine day, and I encourage you all to celebrate that. This is just the start of a long, promising journey, that's bound to be more difficult as time goes by," Elle said, then we all gave her a round of applause. She then recalled every special memory she had with everyone, then it was time for her to end her speech.
