Max grew up in a small town with a couple of friends. He was very shy and hated meeting new people. His dad, Darren, was the CEO of a book publishing company and his mom, April, was an ex-model. When they moved to Central Grove, his sister, Alice, immediately had a large group of friends. One of those friends was named Luca, and he and Max became friends. Max also met Jackson, but he was a bit of a bad influence. Despite this, he was named Alpha. He had always steered clear of girls, but now every girl wanted him. The most annoying one was Cameron. Then one day, Jackson told him something unsettling
"Hey Max, guess what?" Jackson asked.
"What?" Max said, not knowing what he was doing.
"I'm now going to be getting fifty bucks a month from a bet!" He said excitedly.
"What is the bet anyway?"
"Date the top five hottest girls in the school," Jackson said nonchalantly.
Max slammed his locker in shock, "What?! Five?!"
"Yeah! The only catch is that one of them is the Omega."
"That's messed up. They'll be heartbroken. " Max said, obviously annoyed.
Jackson smirked, "I trust that you won't tell them."
Max sighed. He could see this backfiring on him, "Of course man, what are friends for?"
He kept his friend's secret for 4 months when Principal Garrison was looking for a tutor for his daughter. Max volunteered, thinking nothing of the request.
