"SO YOUR SAYING THAT KISSING MY BROTHER WAS A MISTAKE?" Klaus shook his head at his hormonal best friend. "No! Never that!" Leah quickly denied. "Then what are you complaining for" Klaus smiled at her. He was happy that she was happy. "Ugh, my parents, my brothers, my cousins" Leah started to list everything she knew that could cause harm to Elijah. "That's not my problem. If your parents like him then everyone else will fall in line" Klaus tried to ease her pain but he knew that wouldn't happen.
"Your useless....my parents tolerate you and that's only because I care for you as my own" she sighed then continued, "You know I'm a daddy's girl and both my parents and brothers are wayyyy too overprotective" Klaus came to her side and wrapped her into a big hug. "Your overthinking it, having you ever talked to them about it? Elijah and I are two different people with two different personalities. maybe they will like them" Klaus tried his best but he isn't the best at these types of things.
"Maybe your right but I should talk to Elijah" Leah sighed into his chest. "You haven't talked to him since the kiss have you?" Klaus chuckled at the muffled 'no' he received from Leah. "Then go talk to him, okay. I have business to take care of anyway" Klaus detached himself from her and sent her off. When Leah walked out of the door she ran into Elijah. "Sorry" she apologized. He kindly smiled at her and waited for her to look up at him. "You heard everything didn't you" she narrowed her eyes. You would think someone in this situation would be embarrassed but not Leah.
"I-yes" he shook his head trying to reach into his brain to find a maybe decent excuse but came up with nothing. "Well, looks like I don't have to explain anything so I will be on my way" she tried to step between Elijah but it didn't work. "I didn't share what I felt" he snaked his arm around her waist. "It was one kiss" she tore her gaze from his eyes. "Just one? Or a gateway to more?" Elijah wasn't one to express emotion toward someone but Leah was someone who brought it out of him. "One, Elijah, I have to talk my parents...remember our deal?" it had seemed this so called deal was Leah's only excuse not to be around Elijah or craze his touch.
"You bring up the deal every time I express my feelings toward you, why is that?" he held her tighter. "Because I'm scared, 'Lijah. My parents are well my parents. And you already know how my brother's are" Leah looked to him trying to harden her heart but it melted every time she looked into his eyes. "I'm right here okay? We can take it slow and figure out why your here, okay? together, alright?" Elijah traced the the edge of his lips with his tongue waiting for her answer. His heart was crumbling from the silence. "Together" she answered and hugged him lightly.
"How about another kiss?" he smirked. he couldn't help himself around her. "Bye Elijah" she dismissed him and pecked his cheek. Elijah smiled as he watched her walk away, he had wondered why she was in a good mood after the death of Davina but decided not to ask. "Nik!" Leah screamed as she saw the body with the mark. Elijah, Klaus and the rest of vampires came running to her aid. "I know that symbol" she physically cringed at the body. "And I was hoping never to see it again" Elijah looked down to get a closer look at it.
