After the Yeeking Oofdashbefts had unfortunately encountered his fate, his eldest dinoling Oofdelbefta took the throne as the Yeequeen of all of the lands of Yee. The Yees of Oofcity, the capital city of the lands of the Yee, respected the great Yeequeen. During Oofdelbefta's first years of rule, the lands of Yee were plentiful and a dinosaur wearing a purple hat could be seen every way one looked. This was to last for maybe fifty years—I cannot remember—and this period was referred to as the Abounding of Dinosaurs. The Great Yee of the Skies shouted down to the Yeequeen every night in the form of OOFS that were interpreted by private priests. One such priest was Saint Ooglay, who was extremely good at interpreting these OOFS, and had studied the language of Yee for ten years. One night, the Great Yee of the Skies shouted down to Saint Ooglay, who thought about this sign for many minutes before determining the message that the Great Yee of the Skies had said was "I'd like purple hats to be blue."
And so Saint Ooglay told the Yeequeen, and the next morning purple hats turned blue. After the Abounding of Dinosaurs had been going on for about forty years, the Yeequeen fell into a great sleep. Saint Ooglay said that the Yeequeen was "visiting the Great Yee of the Skies" but no one was sure. The Yeequeen was in her great sleep for two years, then she woke up; the eyes of Saint Ooglay were staring back at her.
