Authors note( I could figure out how to draw kits without making them look like small warriors so take Poppypaw instead)

Stormstep sat outside of the medicine cat den, his paws fidgeting. He was both nervous and excited. His mate Rainfeather was going to give birth to their second litter. His older daughter Patchspots sat next to him. "Well you seem excited dad." Patchspots mewed. "Of course I'm excited, wwwI'm going to meet my new kits."Stormstep kept jumping outside.

"Alright Stormstep, you and Patchspots can come in now." Heatherspots mewed. Stormstep was jumping around like a kit winning a game of moss ball. Patchspots began to chuckle. "Were you this excited when I was born?" She asked. "Of course I was." Stormstep kept walking. He broke into an excited sprint toward the medicine cat den.

There he saw his mate curled around three small kits,  One golden tabby, one tan and black tabby and one dark gray kit. Patchspots started to pad in bumping into Stormstep along the way. Stormstep didn't notice and smiled widely at his mate and his newborn kits.

"Three healthy kits, one she kit and two Tom's." Heatherspots spoke. "And good job Poppypaw, you did good for your first kitting. Heatherspots continued. "Thank you Heatherspots!" Poppypaw mewed excitedly. Rainfeather's gaze went from her kits to Stormstep. "You did great Rainfeather." Stormstep whispered looking at her and the kits. "What will me name them." Rainfeather purred.

"Well I think the golden tabby should named Lionkit." Stormstep suggested. What about the tan and black tabby as Renkit?" Rainfeather suggested as well. "They seem great so far, I believe you should name the last kit." Stormstep told Rainfeather. The last of the litter was a small dark gray tom. He seemed to have more trouble moving around than his litter mates. It's just because he's small, it's normal. "I'll name this one Darkkit." Rainfeather said licking the kits. Stormstep curled around Rainfeather and their kits. "Nothing could ruin this moment for us." He mewed softly.
